Q:How to connect solar panels?
You must connect solar cells the same way you would connect a couple of batteries, in series. And you cannot connect any form of voltage source in parallel to one another, this doesn't work, if you need a specific drop in voltage from the cell, use a voltage regulator and some capacitors. Hope I helped.
Q:are biological solar panels possible?
It's done under the name of biodiesel. Plants capture sunlilght and produces oil, oil is used to generate movement by an engine. That can be used for transport or to generate electricity. But they can also get used more directly for solar panels: . though they aren't much good yet. Generally going to convert plant products into energy is still better. Edit: connecting a solar panel to your metabolism will remain for a long time science fiction. The traditional way of eating your food instead of absorbing it into your skin works well and can be very enjoyable.
Q:Can I join 5 or more solar panels into line to the battery bank. I don,t have a regulator connected, just st?
Two things on a regulator: a) It will optimize the charge to the batteries - and thereby distribute the most possible power to your active circuits during the day. b) It will prevent the power from the panels from boiling (no kidding) the batteries - no small thing as they are the second largest investment you have after the panels themselves. This is much more critical if you have sealed or Zero-Maintenance batteries. I strongly suggest that you get a regulator as it will significantly lengthen battery life. Follow the directions on the regulator for optimum input voltage and it will let you know whether all the panels should be in series, parallel or series/parallel. But cutting to the chase, you can certainly gang up panels as needed.
Q:someone knows about solar panel?
A Mobile home will have its frame grounded when connected to a standard electrical 'plug-in', if it was built to current Codes. If you plan to use that panel as the entire electrical system you'll need to ground the frame. Vehicle systems, (frame grounded), are 2 Volt for a reason. It would be unwise to use a separately derived 20V. system in that mobile home if that frame's not grounded. (That first step out on to the ground could be a 'lulu'.)
Q:How to connect solar panels to batteries?
You can use them without the regulator . Just make sure you use blocking diodes so the the power does not flow back into the panels . You can get those at radio shack of some electronic store or off OKorder for a few bucks .
Q:where I can find this solar panel?

See all Physical Science articles You've probably seen calculators that have solar cells -- calculators that never need batteries, and in some cases don't even have an off button. As long as you have enough light, they seem to work forever. You may have seen larger solar panels -- on emergency road signs or call boxes, on buoys, even in parking lots to power lights. Although these larger panels aren't as common as solar powered calculators, they're out there, and not that hard to spot if you know where to look. There are solar cell arrays on satellites, where they are used to power the electrical systems. You have probably also been hearing about the solar revolution for the last 20 years -- the idea that one day we will all use free electricity from the sun. This is a seductive promise: On a bright, sunny day, the sun shines approximately ,000 watts of energy per square meter of the planet's surface, and if we could collect all of that energy we could easily power our homes and offices for free.
Q:Solar Panel Help, Trying to go green.?
I had a system installed last year and am very happy with it so far. When I was getting quotes from companies we used a 3 year usage history that I was able to get from my utility. I live in an area that allows me to sell back my excess or let my meter run backwards, which really helps reduce costs. The amount of energy you use and can produce will vary during the year. I had monthly usage under 800 kwh and months over 2000 kwh. I have become more aware of my usage and have made adjustments to appliances and habits to cut my usage down. I installed a 3.74 kw dc system. On average in the summer I generate 35 kwh per day and in the winter I averagae around 2 kwh per day, but I've seen days as low as 2kwh. I don't see the benefit to hooking up a system to specifice appliances for 2 reasons. Your a/c doesn't run non stop, so the energy you produce when the system cycles off is lost. You only produce electricity when the sun is shining on the panels. If you have a cloudy day or it is hot after the sun goes down, you will need to still use household energy. My system doesn't zero out my bill, but it reduces it by about 75% in the summer and at least 50% in the winter. My bills were over $200 many months, my highest summer bill was $20 and highest winter bill was $35. My system cost $26K (less than my pool or hardwood floors), I got a $0K rebate from my utility and a $2K federal tax credit. The fed. tax credit has increased this year to 30% of the total installed price. I should break even in 6-7 years and save well over $50K over the life of the panels.
Q:What kind of Solar Power panel setup do I need for this?
Unfortunately solar panels are low output, generally only 2 volt and very low amperage,so you would need to build a multi panel array with a DC-AC converter all together costing several hundred dollars which would only work during sunlight.Just roughly figuring, about $800. Plan2-Solar charger, battery bank, and DC-AC inverter so it would work 24hrs a day, also several hundred $$. Solar power does just not seem feasible(to me)in this application.By far the cheapest set up here would be an extension cord fromhouse to the bucket.260 watts per hr is a fairly lightweight draw, even not figuring the thermostat's cycling it on and off as needed.Electricity is sold in kilowatt hours(000W/hr).This bucket would use(not allowing for thermostats control lowering it)appx 6000watts or 6KW per day.Depending on your electrical cost per Kwh it would cost very little to run.(In my location appx 50cents a day) or appx the same amount as my computer(325watts total)) Note that that would be a maximum rate, and would actually be less due to thermostat cycling off and on as needed.
Q:Generator for solar panels....?
Solar panels generate DC power. If you need AC power, you need an inverter.
Q:How many wind turbines and solar panels does the world need to replace coal, oil and nuclear power?
Both the wind turbines ( windmills) and solar panels are less costly to implement than nuclear power and have less disaster potential. They have proven that Windmills miles out in the ocean are a great source of power. This dose not consume any land. For land bound areas they should use public roadways to line the windmills. For areas without sustainable winds they can use the combined effect of windmills and solar power. Honey, any motor needs oil. Whether it is a generator for a windmill or a nuclear reactor. Motors are what runs the world. Consider the amount of oil to run a nuclear facility. Tons more than a generator motor. Once a turbine is activated (motor started) the winds themselves turns the windmill. Each turbine is lined up with the next (wind farms) to push wind at the blades, they each push each other.
