FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own                design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000            pcs.

Q:I am installing 4.5 x 4.5 porcelain tiles on a drywall kitchen backsplash. Applying Omnigrip mastic using a 1/4 x 3/16 vnotch trowel. The tiles have a waffle grid pattern on the back which is about 1/16 deep. I tested the application of one tile and noticed that the mastic did not fill all the waffle depressions. Are they supposed to be all filled? DO I have to backbutter the tiles? Am I using the correct trowel size? Please help!P.S. What is the purpose of the waffle pattern in the first place?

Q:Is there a way to paint dark green tiles? I also want to paint my white cabinets- what should I be aware of (sanding, etc) Anything else I need to know? Thanks!
With your tiles if you want to paint them darker then yes you can buy specific tile paint, which involves using a primer first then the paint, but to go lighter i think u may struggle as covering any dark colour and going lighter is tough. As for your cabinets, depends what they are made of, if the r solid wood a light sanding and primer should suffice, if they have laminate fronts(shiny) i wouldn't bother trying to paint them, just buy new fronts, its often as cheap as buying all the paints and primers etc!
Q:Ok so my 17 year old SIL decided to clean the grout in our entry way using STRAIGHT bleach last night. I came home to find the ceramic tile COVERED in bleach!! Now, after mopping several times I still haven‘t been able to get all the bleach up AND our tiles are stripped!!! Any tips on getting the bleach up and then resealing? Total novice here and desperate for any kind of help!! Thanks!!
neutralize the bleach first and then soap and water till its gone, then you can reseal with materials from any hardware store. Use baking soda for the first process dissolved in water
Q:Hi Folks,Currently I have a bath tub with a vinyl shower surround. I‘m considering removing the shower surround and replacing it with tile.I‘m just wondering how big of a job this is? I‘ve never tiled before but consider myself handy and have done plenty around the house.Of note, I don‘t believe proper backboard is underneath the surround so I‘d have to put that up also. I‘ve put drywall up in the past so I think that part should be ok.So...is this a do it yourself job? Or is this something that needs to be hired out for. Seems like it should be simple, but maybe I‘m missing something and it gets complicated or difficult to make come out nice? Also, how long should this take if I did it myself (days and hours per day) and how long before I can start using the shower again. Thanks!
As long as you don't remove the shower pan, you should be okay. Don't assume that the corner of your wall is plumb. Do a dry fit at the bottom to see that you don't have tiny slivers of tile to cut in the corners. You want to tile from the bottom up and the outside in. That way, any cut tiles are on the inside corners. Be absolutely certain that you start out plumb and square, or the job will always look lop-sided. Lowe's and Home Depot offer classes on how to lay tile, it might be a good idea to attend one so you'll know exactly what you're doing.
Q:Can you put linoleum over tile?
First of all, you really need to check with your landlord/lady before putting anything down on the floor. I've never lived in a rental where I could paint the walls much less mess with the flooring! That having been said, no, you cannot just put vinyl over tile since vinyl conforms to whatever is underneath it, it will take on the contour of the tile and warp and gap. You'd really need to take up the tile, and depending on what type of subfloor you have, you would either have to sand the concrete and put an underlayment over that or lay hardibacker on a wood subfloor, all of which will be more costly and time consuming than I'm sure you would be willing to invest in a rental, not to mention the fact that I'm sure your landlord/lady will pitch a fit if you do it without his/her consent. I say just live with it. Put down some throw rugs if it bothers you that much.
Q:do everything and what thickness of mortar between the tiles and the floor should be observed
Depends what kind of tile, large? small inch tiles? Either way, a cement board floor should be installed first. Most grout gaps are 1/8th inch or less.
Q:and 12 red tiles and 9 white tiles in pattern 3, how many white and red tiles will there be in pattern 6 and pattern 10?Thanks!
The answer is: In pattern 6: 18 Red Tiles and 18 White Tiles In pattern 10: 26 Red Tiles and 30 White Tiles Look at the pattern for your answer. How do the number of tiles change each pattern? The answer is that Red Tiles increase by two (2) tiles each pattern and White Tiles increase by three (3) each pattern. So the patterns are as follows: Pattern / RED / WHITE Pattern 1 / 8 / 3 Pattern 2 / 10 / 6 Pattern 3 / 12 / 9 Pattern 4 / 14 / 12 Pattern 5 / 16 / 15 Pattern 6 / 18 / 18 Pattern 7 / 20 / 21 Pattern 8 / 22 / 24 Pattern 9/ 24 / 27 Pattern 10 / 26 / 30 So, as aforementioned, the answer is: In pattern 6: 18 Red Tiles and 18 White Tiles In pattern 10: 26 Red Tiles and 30 White Tiles
Q:What is the loss of tiles? What is the difference between floor tiles and bathroom tiles? Living room masonry 80X80 balcony, bathroom floor, kitchen floor is 30X30 bathroom wall, kitchen wall is 30X45. We help me see how much loss in this
Hello, in fact, the loss will not be great, because the general brick you cut somewhere else can be used, unless your office is not just the length and width, that is, in addition to your specifications, the rest of the small points than you Half of the specifications of the brick is big, and the loss of that situation is large. Hall with the general loss of two more with 80. By 1.56 +2 on it. Small pieces of damage loss is relatively small, according to the normal calculation but also throw away the place not posted. The normal normal area of 30 * 30 direct by 11 will not lose much. Tile specifications 30 * 45 of the. This is more difficult to calculate. Because doors and windows to throw away. There are many irregular places. Are generally deducted those who add up to 10 is enough, after the stalls can be posted as the point of the brick point. Hope it helps you. (Buy brick and more visit a few)
Q:the tile squares have come off and I need to re-stick them. Which glue should I use?
The thin floor tiles? Sometimes you can heat the tile back and floor with a hair drier then stick them back in place one by one. If that doesn't work then carry a tile to a flooring outlet and ask them what to use and do. There's different types of adhesives. Some can be re-activated with heat while others need to be removed then a fresh application trowled on.
Q:I‘m gutting my bathroom and will be tiling the floor and then adding a new vanity and a new toilet. The question is, do you tile before you put in the toilet and new vanity or do you put in these items first and then tile around them? Concrete slab foundation that I‘m currently working on leveling.
I would suggest paying a contractor because there are many things that can go wrong. ...sub floor has bounce, so tiles don't stay down, grout cracks, putting a toilet over tiles (you need to lift the toilet, and reset it after the tiles are laid. You will also need to cut the tiles around the ABS and that can be a bit difficult too.) then the toilet can still leak causing damage. But if you are a good DIYer, then go to Home Depot or Rona and take a seminar.
