1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

- I prefer ceramic tile in a kitchen simply because every hardwood floor I've ever had was slippery if liquid was spilled on it. There are issues with keeping the grout clean as someone pointed out, but good maintainence will take care of that. Another factor you'll want to consider is the look of everything else. If you are going with wood cabinets, hardwood floors might be too much. Or if you have a tile countertop and backsplash, tile flooring might be too much. Look at both and compare them to the other elements you have choosen for the kitchen, that will probably make the decision very easy. But either, ceramic tile or natural hardwood, both add a lot of value to your home and look beautiful.

- Under normal circumstances you can buy a circular polishing machine 14 grinding head, a 800 type CNC cutting machine, in addition to buy a manual cutting machine (1200 models), basically can meet a small processing plant. If you want to be more competitive, on the most advanced arc lines machine.

- Ceramic tiles comes in several grades of toughness. It's not too fragile, but use caution not to drop heavy objects. Do you have extra pieces of tile that match? Always buy 10% overage for replacement.
- Q:I want to lay tile on a house I just bought. What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile and which one would be the best fit for my house? The tile is going to be in the living room, dinning room, and kitchen. Also, how much is it going to cost me for labor to lay down the tile? Total square feet is going to be around 600 sq ft.
- Both can be equally good or bad. Porcelain is usually a harder bodied tile than a ceramic. Overall you ll get a more consistent sizing w/ porcelains. Most all porcelains now are a glazed porcelain as opposed to the real good color thru out bodied porcelains.You ll have to see a tile to fully under stand the difference. What you need to do is compare apples to apples as far as the ratings(0-4). Using a 3/4 rated tile only in the house. This is a slip resistance rating.Then there is tinsel strength ( breakage) . And last is ohms or scratch resistance. Get the fact sand do some comparison shopping. As far as the labor, it can run from3-5$ a s/f depending on the area you live in. This won t include setting materials ( thin sets , grouts, cement board if needed) These are taxable items and each jobs vary as you may or may not need the cement board if your on a slab floor for example. - Q:We will be tiling a backsplash directly onto drywall after our countertops are installed. My question is -- what do I do about the electrical outlets in that area? The tile is about 1/4 inch thick -- and I want the outlets even with the tile (right?) After I tile around the outlet openings, then how do you make them flush when you put everything back together? For example, do I just pull the sockets out so that the screw brackets sit on top of the tile? If so, then do I need to drill screw holes through the tile? If so, then how do I make sure that the tile does not break or crack?
- Normally, you have 1/4 of extra thread on the outlet screw to play with. If the screw isn't long enough ask someone at your local hardware store for a longer screw. DON'T use drywall screws because they will strip the threads on your electrical box. So yes, pull the sockets out and let the screw brackets sit on the tile.

- I'm not certain what the dimensions of a 'standard terracotta' tile that you mention are but... we have a Spanish style roof, utilizing what is called Spanish Mission Tile, in which the tiles are semicircular in cross section and about 6 inches wide, by about 20 inches long. It is the type of tile that requires one column of tile INVERTED with the concave face upward, and the next column [on both sides] with the concave side down covering the edges of the adjacent up-curved tiles. The Mission tiles are NOT the kind in which one tile provides both the under' and over'' portion in a single tile. Our Mission tiles weigh 5 pounds each and we have 3,500 on our roof which totals out to roughly 17,500 pounds on a house of about 2,000 sqft. We [My father, Mother, myself (12 yoa), and my brother (8 yoa)] installed this roof ourselves back in 1954 and although it wasn't complicated, it was a whole lot of hard work. It took us almost an entire summer to do it. You may be able to get more info from the manufacturer from who we buy replacement tiles. It is the D'hannis [Sp?] tile company located at Hondo, Texas, which is west of San Antonio.

(Color can be deployed on demand side)
- Q:I want to install Travertine tile to a fireplace surround. This would be travertine tile directly to sheetrock, painted with flat latex paint. This areawould never see moisture other than something the wet grout and sealer. Is this OK? Will the sheetrock hold the weight of the tiles? What prep is needed? Or am I asking for trouble?
- Directly to the wall in your situation will work fine. You are better off using a thin set ( latex or a latex modified the bag will say) I ve done 100 s of FP s this way I would use a metal edging on the inside of the surround rather than a caulk or grout, since both will look bad shortly from the metal on the fire chamber will expand and contract. Don t forget to seal the stone at least once before installation ( I do all mine twice before installation ) This so you don t stain it w/ glues, thin sets or grouting.
