FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

5. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles?

Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance). The porcelain tiles are weaker performance in non-slip than glazed tiles. We should take attention on its anti-slip properties, face down in a tiled brick water testing.

Q:I need to repair my shower, about 6 tiles fell off. I‘m currently drying the drywall with a fan. Whats the best way to glue tile back on the wall?
First of all I would look at the wall behind where the tile has came off. If your house is old or installation was poor they may not have the proper material behind the tile, as in the wall. If it is sheetrock, no wonder! You need either greenboard or dur-rock behind it that is the code. Anyways, once you find this out see if it's only sheetrock behind it, it won't do you any good to stick em back up. Which if the material behind is fine than just get some match stick at home depot that's cheap but creates a nasty mess. Or grab a small bag of thinset which you mix with water or some will require an extra additive which will be where ever you go for the thin set. You can get this stuff at Home Depot or Lowes while your there I 'd grab a trowel with 3/8 knotch spacers and your grout. Hopefully all of the peices were full peices. If not your gonna have to borrow a hand held maquita or cutter or saw. Make sure your rows with trowel are even with through out your spread. If you are using thinset, you have to apply thinset to wall and tile. Obviously you stick the tile first grab some sort of extra scrap to spread them appropriately. Wait a day for the thinset to set up and the next day pull out your wedges or spacers and grout. Good luck. Chic
Q:We have a two sink bathroom set up would like to replace the counter-top with a homemade tile counter-top - we are pretty handy but have not dealt with tile before - and before I ask my dad for help I thought why not check out yahoo answers. Thanks! :)
This isn't a very difficult task to undertake. There are several factors to consider when building this counter top: size of tile compared to counter top size (to figure out where the cuts will be other than the back, of course), top mount sink or undermount sink (how to finish the sink opening) and remember that a tile countertop will raise the sink and therefore you may need an extension for your pop-up/p-trap, will there be a backsplash? will that backsplash interfere with any outlets?, does the tile come with matching end caps or will you be using wood to cap the ends? Picking out the proper material and knowing how to do the job start to finish will make things soooo much easier. I would definitely use a 3/4 exterior grade plywood with cement board and cement board screws. Some tiles already come pre-spaced (4 1/4 x 4 1/4 tiles). Shoot me an email with some piictures of the project and I will try to help you and see where you possibly may run into some problems (if any). In the meantime, I suggest looking in HD or Lowes for those step-by-step books.
Q:I‘m redecorating the bathrooms of my town house. I want to tile the one wall in the shower with small blue Mosaic tiles, and the rest of the bathroom with plain white tiles. As it‘s a very small en-suite, I‘m thinking o
Mosaic tiles can add a lot of variety and interest into a bathroom. A mixture of blues is suitable and your decision to keep the other areas white is also correct. I am assuming the fittings will also be white colour. But, if you are planning to cover only one part of a wall where it is against the shower, it might not look right. (unless the wall you are referring to is the wide side of the shower and it is also the full width of the bathroom) it is best to either use it on all three sides of the shower or in one full wall of the bathroom.
Q:I live in an apartment and ive never had floor tiles like these. There is concrete underneath but I think these are ceramic tiles on top.I have no clue what to use to bring back the shine.Any suggestions would be helpful
If the tiles have a shiny finish, the polish designed to clean glass topped stoves will safely remove built up grime. As far as polishing afterwards, I don't know what brand you have. In light of this I would suggest you take a good look at the detaisl and pattern and visit a store that sells tiles. Find your best match and read the package for all cleaning/polishing instructions. If the help seem competent, you could ask them as well.
Q:Qingdao where there are Bode tiles monopoly
Qingdao Bode Tile Monopoly in Qingdao Laoshan District Liaoyang West Road Gaoke Park Decoration City Hall 1 A10-A14
Q:My friend‘s bathroom floor is light-colored marble tile. His new navy blue shower mat bled navy dye and stained the tile. It‘s pretty soaked into the tile and won‘t wipe off. Is it a lost cause to try to remove it, or does anyone have any ideas to get the stain out? Thanks a lot!
Marble tile flooring can be quite expensive and the flooring cost may be more than what you have budgeted. However if you have still desire to install marble tile flooring then you have another option that is synthetic marble tile flooring. Synthetic marble tiles are cheaper than the original marble tiles. But at the same time you cannot expect the durability and bright beauty of original marble tiles from the synthetic version.
Q:I am having glass tile installed. It is in a high use area...backsplash with lots of good cooking going on...should it be sealed, and if so by what kind of sealer. The glass tile is frosted. Thanks.
If it weren't for the grout joints, you wouldn't have to apply sealer to the area. Grease and oil splatter from frying will not soak into the glass tiles, but it will soak into the grout joints. Eventually, the grout joints will become discolored and impossible to clean. For that reason, it is a good idea to apply sealer to the area. Keep in mind that you will have to thoroughly clean the area, especially the grout joints, every couple of years and reapply a new coat of sealer. Good luck with your new glass tile backsplash.
Q:I want to add a backsplash with a 4x4 ceramic tile. I only want to go up 1 or 2 tiles in height not the whole wall area. Edges of the tiles are not black for the unfinished ceramic. How do I make the edges look finished or black also?
The edging tiles are the best way to go as everyone has said. If you are on a tight budget, you can use wood trim, like a small quarter round, and paint it to match the tile.
Q:The tile I want to clean was built with the house back in the early 1900‘s but still in very good condition what would be the best way to clean that because its very dirty, and i think its porcealin. The second set of tile looks like it was put in back in the seventies but doesn‘t match the original tile at all, what would be the best way to change the color other than replacing it. Could i use pray paint?
You okorder ...as for safely cleaning the tile surfaces, try white vinegar, or use a product like Lime-Away
Q:for diferent size tiles are there standard grout joint sizes
This doesn't directly answer your question, but I thought that you might like to know what can happen if you don't make a grouted joint in ceramic tiles, particularly in a shower cubicle. The tiler who tiled my shower room didn't make any joints at all. He set the tiles so close together that they were touching, presumably to save on grount and on time. That's what caused a leak in my shower cubicle, strangely enough. The water washed off the tiny amount of grout that was wiped over the tiles, then it worked its way through and behind the tiles, and appeared as a wet patch on the carpet in the hallway outside the shower room. All this took several years to show up. I had to have the shower cubicle retiled, with 3 or 4 mm grouted joints, plus new plaster board backing, but it solved the problem of the leak. So, that's what could happen if you don't put grouted joints in ceramic tiles, particularly if they are in a shower cubicle.
