FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:Does any one know of a website or place Greenville, NC that would sell cheap bathroom tiles? We are rebuilding our bathroom and Lowe‘s and Home Depot both have outrageous prices? Thanks in advance!
Why don't you go to Wal-mart, Target, The Home Goods store, Salvation army(visit one in a very good area of town). You can also go to a discount store that sale a variety of merchandise such as Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and Big Lots to name a few. Good luck!
Q:I bought 12 x 12 ceramic tile from Lowe‘s branded as SURFACE SOURCE with a PEI rating 4. I bought each tile for $0.58 each. I want to use the tile for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and living room. The tile was made in Mexico. I think the tile was being discontinued at Lowe‘s. Thus, I think that is why the price was so low. Did I make a mistake? The tile looks good and feels good so I do not see a problem with. I need an honest opinion.
Hi Jerry, You got a great deal! Just install it with care and it will last for a long time. But do be careful with your installation and be sure to use a good underlayment. Also, I would recommend laying out your job so that you have at least 5% of the tiles left after the last room. That way if you do have some that break you can easily replace them. A PEI rating of 4 is the second highest rating - good for all residential applications. Enjoy your good fortune and your good shopping skills - that was a smart move!!
Q:I have some ceramic tiles in my kitchen floor that I would like to paint. Would this be possible?
It is possible to paint tiles. Both Dulux and Crown offer Tile Specific paints in a small range range of colours. However this is meant more for bathroom wall tiles or kitchen splash back wall tiles. I would not advice this for floor tiles as with time this paint will scratch off etc due to traffic. Ronseal do a floor paint that they class as 'diamond hard' though again depending on the glaze and material of the floor tile this might still be unsuitable. Your bast bet would be to lino over the existing tiles or rip up and put down new ones. If we can help in any way please visit our website....
Q:Chinese tiles before the top 30 ranking
Now do not advocate tile ranking, as long as it is pure Guangdong Foshan brick is not like OEM, cost-effective on the line.
Q:How to calculate the area of the toilet and kitchen tiles
Such as the kitchen is 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. The area of the wall should be the circumference of the kitchen by height (2.5 + 2.5 + 3 + 3) * 3. = 33 and then remove the door and the window area is about 31 or so. Mainly look at your window size. The door area is basically a multi-square. Finally, the wall about 22 square feet up and down. The floor area is 7.5 square feet. Then use the wall area in addition to the area of the brick you choose. Such as: brick is 300 * 450 = 0.135. The ground is also true. The bathroom is so calculated.
Q:I am planning on laying down tile in my dining room and kitchen. I recently saw an offset pattern with 12x12 tiles and liked it. I‘ve now decided to go with the same offset pattern but with 20x20 ceramic tiles. Would I still have to find the center of the room and start tiling out from the center or can I just start at one wall and go from there since i‘ll be using the offset pattern? Thanks in advance.
Starting at the center is the only way, regardless if the tile is in line or offset as you plan. Especially with the 20x20. it would look odd to have a 2 tile on one side and an 18 tile on the other. Remember, there is a vertical plain as well as a horizontal plain. Your pattern, with two rows and spacers should be layed out wall to wall up down as well as right and left. That is an easy way to determine your first and second tiles. Mark those two tiles with a magic marker. A rough starting point is determined by measuring the length of the room, convert to inches then divide by 20. This gives you the number of tiles aprox.,divide this number by two (2) and set the first tile at aprox 1/2 the distance from the wall
Q:well I burned a small hole in a linoleum tile. How do I fix it?
You can remove a single tile with the aid of heat. There is a tool called a heat gun that looks like a hand-held hair dryer that will serve this purpose. You can purchase or rent them. You may try a hair dryer first. The heat softens the tile and adhesive. I would also carefully cut several slits in the tile and use a putty knife/scraper to remove it in pieces. Once removed, scrape the remaining adhesive away and then dry fit the replacement tile to check for fit , level and smoothness. Then apply tile adhesive and weigh it down for 24 hrs. You may also attempt to patch the hole if you have a matching replacement tile [or can cut a section from under a cabinet or appliance. 1) cut a shape around the hole that will best match the pattern in the tile; cut a patch from the replacement linoleum. 2) fill the area with a matching epoxy. You might try to grind some small shavings from a replacement tile and mix with a bit of clear epoxy to fill the hole. Sand smooth after the epoxy dries. Obtain a glossy topcoat with a bit of clear nail polish.
Q:I wish to change the bathroom colour,re-tileing is too expensive so maybe painting the tiles is a option howbest do i prepare for this
depends on the type of paint used and you may need to rough them up, but b 4 u do that go and ask at a specialist paint shop as there are products / paints out there that you can use.
Q:What type/color tile will mesh with this wall coloring?
Any of these will work well..... turquoise or aqua dark green or light green beige lavender med. blue =)
Q:If yes, we want to know what s the best sealer for our porcelain tiles we just installed on our floors. Will the sealer make the tiles slippery? We will appreciate your quick answer from y‘all!
Grout ought to be entirely dry. Most sealers are makeup of silicone. Agree with William. - hold the sealer within the grout discipline up to viable. If silicone residue isn't entirely wiped clean from the tiles - it may be lovely slippery.
