FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:Selecting same floor tile for kitchen and rest of living area?
Golden Desire tile back splash or close. kitchen light Tile . throughout the living area some thing that blends but not off the wall to the kitchen floor.
Q:Need To Calculate Number of Tiles To Buy?
35/4 = 8.75 Since you really can't buy 0.75 tiles, round it up 9 80/4 = 20 72/4 = 18 9 * 20 + 9 * 20 + 18 * 20 => 180 + 180 + 360 => 720 38/4 = 9.5 => 10 39/4 = 9.75 => 10 22/4 = 5.5 => 6 21/4 = 5.25 => 6 10 * 10 + 6 * 10 + 6 * 10 => 100 + 60 + 60 => 220 79/4 = 19.75 => 20 27/4 = 6.75 => 7 20 * 7 = 140 720 + 220 + 140 => 840 + 140 => 980 At the minimum, you'll need to buy around 980 tiles. Now, it should be noted that there will be spaces between the tiles (anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4, so this will cut down on the number of tiles), and also, you may be able to use pieces of tiles that are left over (for instance, when you cut a quarter of a piece of the tile away, you'll still have a lot left over to work with). I'd go ahead and purchase an even 1000 (you will break some, and there's always bound to be at least 1 tile that's busted up in each pack) so you'd have plenty to work with.
Q:Ceramic tile flooring?
Everything is possible. But depending on the type of tile I would not recommend painting it, especially if it has a glazed finish to it. The only thing that might work would be an epoxy coating they use on garage floors. I know if it was my house I wouldn't want to rip it out and re due the tile, but at the same time I do not think you would be happy with the paint after a few months and it is flaking off or wearing thin in the traffic areas, (that is assuming it will stay on that long). Good luck!
Q:Waterproof tiles
September 2009, most of the brands are listed completely impermeable within the wall, brick and glazed between the waterproof layer, you can achieve the water does not change color, not cracking and so on. You have to buy the words to the market to ask is not permeable on it, the best point of their own water try.
Q:Poll: Tiles or Carpet?
carpet, tile is easier to slip and break your bones or something. if you ever want tile, choose HARD tile not SOFT tile because soft tile will end up as an accident. hard tile is just tile with rougher edges so you won't slip.
Q:How to change a single linoleum tile?
The easiest way I have found to remove a single tile is to get a large pot of water boil it and set on top the the tile you want to replace. The heat from the pot will make the tile soft and very pliable. Take a box cutter and cut a x in the center of the tile (it will be as easy as cutting through carboard, tear up the tile it will come up in 4 pieces assuming you cut the X) scrape the glue with a metal putty knife re-apply new adhesive and lay the new tile. good luck
Q:Making an existing tile floor non-skid?
If the tiles that were used were indeed the 4 1/4 inch shinny (wall) tiles, they are not recommended by the manufacturer for use on any floor.but i looked on line and found a few products .slip tech was one. i'm not sure if any topical product will work or not on a shinny surface as yours and what it may look like.if you decide to do this, try the product out in an test area first, preferably in a out of sight spot. if you want to look online ,i looked at floor tile+non slip coating and hit search
Q:Do I need a vapor barrier when installing ceramic floor tile?
YIKES!! Even in the High Desert of California, there is moisture underground. But, getting to your question: a) If your pad was poured over a vapor barrier (visqueen, typically), you do not need to add anything new *as a vapor barrier*. b) It cannot hurt to install a sealer on top of the concrete before you install new tile in any case. That will reduce the dusting in any case. c) But I am thinking that the felt paper you found was installed as a strain-relief rather than a vapor-barrier. It allows the tile to move differently than the concrete slab. This becomes important if there are extreme changes in outside temperature - which penetrates the edges of the slab and varies with the time-of-day - with relatively constant temperature inside. If the tile is bonded directly to the concrete as those temperature changes take place it will begin to spall and separate - not good as even a few fractions of an inch of difference will be enough to break the bond between the tile and the concrete. Were it up to me, I would install a strain-relief (AKA underlayment) with the new tile. There are liquid applications (Laticrete) and sheet goods (Durock) which come to mind and are very effective as a bond-breaker yet give a solid, reliable surface to hold the tile. These are only two of many and are linked below.
Q:What is any easy way to cover or change/paint/What Ever to at kitchen tile back splash?
Screw 1/4 plywood over the tile and apply the mosaic over that....
Q:What is the best thickness of the tile?
Depends on the kitchen or the living room. The Kitchen is generally 9mm. Living room in general 10mm
