FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:My house to decorate, who knows how the Villets tile ah?
Never heard this brand, is a new brand, but definitely not one of the top ten brands
Q:Tiling over greenboard?
you really should just replace the green board with wonder board.Grout sealer does nothing on drywall, whoever told you to do that is full of ****.grout sealer is for grout joints.Sealing is done AFTER tile is installed and grouted. If you leave the green board, just scrape the old glue off with a putty knife, and any loose paper, gently remove it.If there are gaps or gouges in the drywall, fill them in with joint compound ,let it dry and sand off any high spots. Installing cement board over existing drywall is not a good idea,it creates a space between the two for moisture and mold. And it creates a higher edge at the shower sides where tile edging is needed, and it will not work properly.
Q:Do you think that large, 12X12 tile is just a fad, and in 10 years it will look dated?
People have been using tile that size for centuries, so it's not a fad. Whether or not it will look like one in 10 years is going to depend on the colour of the tile and the way it was used.
Q:Tiling over fireplace masonry?
You can attach tile directly to masonry, it has been done all over the world for centuries (Italy, Spain, Middle East all use tile on the exterior of buildings...) I would assume normal thin-set mortar would work, but I believe it would depend on the exact type of masonry- concrete block or clay brick. A thicker adhesive bed will likely be necessary to smooth over the rough surface, but because of the relatively porous surface of most types of masonry your bond should be excellent. My only word of caution would be if you have any cracks in the masonry. Make sure they are not active (widening and narrowing), which may occur with temperature and humidity swings. Either way, you may choose to weld the crack with epoxy to prevent any crack movements that may telegraph through your tile and crack it. Q:How to make tiles?
Plywood, cut in whatever shapes or sizes you want, screw to subfloor and poly the heck out of it, or get something that is more substantial like a special floor laquer, this makes a beautiful floor. Multiple concentric circles, triangles, hexagon-anyway, stain them different colors.
Q:Laminate Tile VS Ceramic Tile: Which is Better for a Kitchen?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Laminate Tile VS Ceramic Tile: Which is Better for a Kitchen? I am getting ready to replace my kitchen flooring. It currently has sticky vinyl tiles, which I hate. I want a nice tile look for sure. However, it seems it is very hard work installing real tile, and more expensive. I have seen some laminate click together tile flooring that looks pretty...
Q:Laying ceramic tile?
You will need 132 tiles-get a few extra in case of breakage.I would go with 1/4 space or less. They sell 1/8th inch spacers-less grout to use and less sealer.
Q:Help removing cork tiles?
Oh man I feel your pain! a.Get a razor sharp floor scraper and go at it. b. Get a paint scraper and scrub the floor like you would any paint. I think you get more leverage using a hand held paint scraper. c. Last case scenario use a non oil based solvent like Acetone, or Lacquer thinner to dissolve the glue. Be sure to ventilate well so you don't get a buzz from the fumes. Good Luck!
Q:Is it possible to make cement floor tiles shiny?
At your local home improvement store they have a sealant that will bring shine to cement tiles. They have to be cleaned real good and then you put this over the tiles. Just ask an associate, and they will point you in the right direction. :-)
Q:No of tiles required ...need urgent help?
You have 160 sq. feet of area. Each tile is 4 square feet. You need 40 tiles. Now the cost will vary greatly as to what you want. At least $1 per square foot and upward.
