Yes the state can file in the best interest of the family victim. For there protection. Rape and statutory rape.
Q:I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. I only have time for one more round of pressing before the project is due! Thanks :)
Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).
Q:what does the number of pulls up with your weight tell you about your bench press
Pull-ups primarily target the Latissimus Dorsi muscle group in the back, though many other muscles are involved in the movement. These assisting muscles include the Brachialis, Brachioradialis, Biceps Brachii, Teres Major, Deltoid muscle, Infraspinatus, Teres Minor, Rhomboids, Levator Scapulae, Trapezius Lower, Trapezius Middle, and Pectoralis Minor. The bench press focuses on the development of the pectoralis major muscle as well as other supporting muscles including the anterior deltoids, serratus anterior, coracobrachialis, and the triceps. It doesn't tell you much about bench press, in fact the only similar muscle groups affected in both exercises are the deltoids. And your deltoids don't play a large enough part in either exercise to affect the other exercise significantly.
Q:I am doing an avocado oil extraction research to compare the recovery rate of cold-pressed and hot-pressed extraction, and I would like to have more information about the two :)
cold pressed means that the seeds like olives are pressed at room temperature to extract their oils. these are much more expensive. hot pressed means they heat the seeds up and add chemicals to help extract more oil. some seeds like sesame seeds need to be hot pressed because they hold such little oil. hot pressed oils are much cheaper.
Q:Ok, so I got my hands on a 1920-1930s Phonola record player and I have some records that came with it, the music in them is really really outdated but cool. But I would like to create some records of my own. Any ideas on how to press, and record audio in them
I nonetheless have all my vinyl from the 60s,and that i too replaced into fortunate adequate some years in the past to discover a track gadget with a turn table on the suitable of it,a number of the information i will nonetheless play, definite it takes you suitable back to once you got them, those i won't be in a position to play I certainly have have been given in cd form, yet its no longer a similar is it? i will nonetheless endure in innovations queueing as much as purchase sgt peppers the day it got here out,i had ordered it the week earlier, the save gave you slightly fee ticket and then on the day the album replaced into released you need to pass and purchase it,you got first decision,by using fact via the tip of the day the save could have bought out! i performed that album all day and night,my father threatened to interrupt it with a sledge hammer if i did no longer supply it a relax! What we ought to consistently have achieved is purchase a replica for taking part in and a replica to maintain in mint concern, shall we've made a small fortune now! oh the know-how of hind sight.
Q:I want to make my own herbal tinctures at home, such as echinacea and cayenne tinctures. I see presses vary in price, from around $40 to almost a thousand $. Does a $40 herb press do the job, this job being to be able to make a few quarts of tincture from one batch of herbs?
I have never heard of using a press for tinctures. I think of a press for expelling oils. Tinctures are liquid extracts using the herb and a medium like alcohol (grain alcohol or vodka), vinegar or glycerin. When I make tincture, I am usually using fresh leaves. I get enough leaves to fill the bottle. I run the leaves through the food processor and pack the bottle. Then I fill the bottle with the liquid. I use 90 proof vodka or grain alcohol with water 50/50. Vinegar I use straight. I have never tried glycerin for my homemade tinctures. I did make valerian tincture a long time ago. I used the powdered root and I forget the amount I used. You can use leaves, flowers, roots or the peppers, crush or chop and for dry ingredients fill your container halfway and then add the alcohol. I would spend my money on bottles, herbs or alcohol rather than a press. Good luck! Making a gallon would require a lot of herbs. Dry herbs would be equal to half a gallon of chopped herbs to a gallon of alcohol. Most tinctures need to age for around 6-8 weeks. Then you strain them out through a sieve and then a cheesecloth or tightly woven white towel. Then bottle. Remember, tinctures are strong medicines. Use them by drops or dilute before ingesting.

Q:I was watching Martha Stewart and she had a guest with an interesting method of pressing roses, in which she would cut out part of the rose to be rid of a lot of the excess bulk, and then press it.I was wondering if anyone could give me specific instructions for how to do this, as I saw it a long time ago, and these roses had sentimental value (so I don't want to mess them up...).

Q:I have never bench press before in my life and really have never lifted weights. Im 15 years old and weigh about 155 and im 6 foot 1 inches. How much weight did you start with your first time I think I can do 100 lbs but is that to low. Any tips will help I plan on trying on tow days from now. Thanks
if you have never bench pressed before 100lbs is not a bad place to start based on the info you have given be sure to warm up before you try to max out though otherwise the amount won't be accurate but bench pressing you should try to shoot for your body weight don't hurt yourself have a spotter
Q:Is it good if I can do a clean leg press of 230kg? (45 degree angle thing)I weight 63,5kgI also got up to 250kg from about maybe 55 degrees or so.Also: Is it true that if you have a bad blood circulation, your muscles get exhausted more easily because the oxygen can't reach your muscles that good (or something like that) ?
leg press can be too easy with the 45 degree thing, much better progress and larger muscles can come doing squats and its better for flexibility as well yes bad circulation will exhaust your muscles and the bigger the muscles the bigger the effect. maybe you need some hypoxic training?
