Q:the usage of plastic bagss?!?!?
1) Quite a bit. 2) I do not use water in plastic bottles unless it is an emergency. I have my own re-usable water bottles which I fill at home through my filtration system. I care very much and am avid about recycling. I buy products made from recycled plastic water bottles. Not only the water bottle issue, but we recycle everything. We don't own a garbage can.
Q:recycling: putting various plastics in?
If the plastic doesn't have a symbol (#1 through #7), it will probably be thrown away when it gets to the processing center. One of the reasons that recycling costs so much and isn't free (a common remark among recyclers) is that people must be paid to pull out things that aren't recyclable from the tons of plastics that arrive at processing centers daily. This isn't always done by hand, of course, but many recyclers will just chuck everything into their bins even if the processing center doesn't want it. If your recycling center says they will accept all plastic no matter if it's marked or not, put it in your recycling bin. If the recycling center says #1 - #5 plastics only, then don't put in anything that isn't marked. Plastics are recycled according to their contents, and the #1 - #7 tells the processing center what to do with that particular plastic. Bottom line? It isn't bad, but if the recycling center says they don't want unmarked plastics, then it will just get thrown away.
Q:plastic or silk plants?
I've had both and personally like silk plants better. As stated already they look more real and they bend and sway with the water current whereas plastic is to stiff to move with the water. I think they are about the same to clean. The only thing I can add is that if you have fish that nibble on plants alot picking of algae or whatever, the silk plants can get a tad frayed on the edges over time. Also with silk if you use a medication that discolors your water you run the risk of it coloring the silk plants also. I haven't had that happen though, I've just heard of it happening from friends with fish tanks. Silk is alittle more expensive but in my opinion is a better looking tank.
Q:Why are most plastic lids not recyclable, even if the container it comes with is?
plastic lids are usually thicker plastic than the container is. like milk jugs and pop bottles are a much thinner plastic than detergent bottles are and can be recycled. it takes much more energy to recycle them. all plastic is not made of the same components. it depends what they are made of. if you look on the bottom of the container and there is a number there, that tells you , and the recycler, if the item can be recycled. no number, no recycle.
Q:What are the common processing methods for plastic products?
Plastic processing, also known as plastic molding processing, is a composite of synthetic resin or plastic into plastic products. It is a large production sector in the plastics industry. Using ethylene as the main raw material, propylene copolymer, 1- butene, hexene, catalyst, polymerization or gas phase polymerization process by slurry, the resulting polymer through flashing, separating, drying, granulating process, to obtain the product of uniform particle. Such as sheet extrusion, film extrusion, pipe or profile extrusion, blow molding, injection molding and plastic.
Q:plastic plants for my Leopard Ctenopoma?? good or bad?
yes the plastic plants are good and will do no harm to the fish i have a leopard ctenopoma and he loves the plastic plants in my tank, he dose not know the difference i also have drift wood that he loves to tuck himself up to... these fish love plants and structure and are more like dogs than fish as you will find out. great fish and loves plants i hope i could help and good luck with your new fish =)
Q:Effects from smoking plastic?
I hope, for your sake, John, you aren't serious. But, if your throat starts hurting, then I would highly recommend going to an ER. (Because it could get VERY serious.)
Q:What paint works with plastic?
as the item is plastic, i would suggest that you buy paint made for plastic, rather than use your wall paint which may not adhere. krylon fusion for plastic is a possible one and comes in an easy to use spray can. but colors are pretty limited so you may not get an exact match to your light brown wall. how to paint: 1. clean the surface real good with a mild detergent, rinse well and dry. make sure that it is completely dry. 2. spray on a thin coat, covering it evenly. 3. let it dry thoroughly and then apply again. applying multiple thin coats of the krylon paint will prevent runs and drips. Have fun!
Q:plastic dreams?
plastic surgery, out culture and the media focus too much on looks and how sex sells, everything is so cosmetic, material world, and so forth that's what I would think of if I saw a book called Plastic Dreams
Q:Plastic surgery advice?
This okorder.com. You can ask specific questions online (it's free )and many board certified medical experts - top notch plastic surgeons, etc. who participate voluntarily (no payments are made - so it's unbiased) will respond online. You can then have direct contact with those who respond. Site is also used by many hundreds who have undergone a wide range of cosmetic treatments and plastic surgery, etc. Many share online their assessments of the treatments, good and bad (and sometimes nightmarish) state treatment cost and say if it was worth it. Many are not happy with the results. Some submit before and after photos. Mukunda
