Q:I would like to know where to find on the Web a bicycle helmet either with a built-in face shield (covering the actual eyes and face, not just a peak like the brim of a baseball cap), or a separate face shield that you can attach to a helmet to cover your eyes and face.Try not to limit your focus to visors on the time trial style bicycle helmets. No references to motorcycle-only helmets please! I am referring to bicycle helmets. Please link to pictures!
Tough situation; the easy thing to do would be to let it go since you're about to leave. The right thing to do is to police up your battle buddy. You've been in long enough to know that if your battle buddy gets caught sleeping, he won't be the only one in trouble. So? 1. Tell him he's a turd and doing the wrong thing. 2. If he doesn't correct his actions, notify the NCO on duty. Impede his every attempt to be a dirt bag. Turn the fan back on. If he wants to argue about it, let him get loud. When the NCO comes in, make no quams about saying My battle buddy is upset because he wanted to sleep so he turned the fan off to hear you coming. The threat of turning him in should be enough to correct his behavior, if only for the short term. And that's all you have to deal with him for. Or notify your Student Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, etc. Work it up your student chain of command and give them the opportunity to help you.

Q:I have 5 1/8 x 3 x 36 in sheets of balsa wood, and I need to make a boat that will move by itself using rubberbands, and I need some help. Any ideas? Thank you.
I'm just curious why you're paying to have it done. Small engine carbs are easy, you can practically make one from pipe fittings. They're super easy to take apart, clean everything out, put everything back together again. I just got a nearly-new Honda mower for the low low price of $10 because the previous owner couldn't get it to start. One $4.00 can of carb cleaner, one set of metric sockets, one teenaged son and one hour later, I've had a pleasant afternoon and my kid is off mowing the yard with a new mower. Can't keep it running, hmm? Is there a fuel shutoff? You did remember to open that, right? I only ask because I've had the headslap moment vis-a-vis the fuel shutoff more than once.

I also built a desk out of 2 plastic sewer pipe fittings plus a sheet of plywood and it served me well thru 9 years of university. The trick to making it sturdy is those cool Y T L fittings. Remember, it's triangles that make stuff rigid. Use 4 L-fittings i.e. 90 degree elbows and pipe to make a rectangle to fit the desk top. Cut the rectangle apart so you can insert four T fittings in the long sides for legs. Cut it again so you can insert two Y fittings about 12 inboard from the back legs. Experiment a little so you can run support pipes at an angle from the Y fittings at the back down to intersect with Y fittings in the back legs. Cut again so you can insert two Y fittings about 12 back of the front legs. Experiment a little so you can run support pipes at an angle from the Y fittings on the sides down to intersect with Y fittings in the front legs. Secure the 3/4 plywood top to the frame with eight 3 1/2 - 4 carriage bolts thru the top and thru the horizontal support pipe, secured with washers and nuts on the bottom. Don't skimp on the bolts; you need 'em all to make this thing totally integrated. Once the top is bolted onto the frame, it makes a solid, good looking desk. Buy some oak edge-trim that you put on the edge of the desktop with a clothes-iron. Touch it up with some fine sandpaper. Add 2 -3 coats of high-gloss urethane finish and you've got a desk that will last foreever. (hey, I'm 45 and still use mine at the cottage) One last tip: dry fit the whole frame and get it the way you want it before you glue anything. Then glue small sections at a time.

This Site Might Help You. RE: What is the thinnest material to use for my glasses' lenses? I have a very strong glasses Rx: -8 sphere, -1.25 cylinder. Rather than spend 6-7 times as much money, I bought some glasses from an online retailer (rhymes with penny optimal, you might know who I mean) and used polycarbonate material to try and keep the weight down, but they're still VERY
Q:Yesterday, forgetting there was residue from a fire extinguisher in our oven, i turned it on to prepare some garlic toast. After about 20 minutes, i came back to a very distinctive fishy smell in my kitchen, and when i opened the oven, i got a very big whiff of it. About an hour later, i started getting very stressed and hyper. I felt like i wanted to explode. Also, i was very paranoid, and found myself continually worried somebody was going to break into my house. When i went to bed, i only slept for 30 minutes, even though it felt like i had slept a whole night. When i woke up it felt like i was vibrating in my bed.All in all, it was a very scary experience, especially since i wasn't expecting it. Are their chemicals inside of a fire extinguisher that could get you high like this, or was it something i ate or another external factor?
Yes, it certainly should be replaced, most probably with PVC, that would be the least expensive and longest lasting. Actually this is a fairly simple job, which most anyone with a little time and a modicum of mechanical ability could do. It would only require that you purchase a length of PVC of the proper size, apparently 3 is what you would need, cut it to the length needed to fill the hole you have left when you cut off the leaking section. Then buy a couple of rubber boots, called Fernco fittings, which have the hose clamps attached to the ends. They come in sizes to adapt from one size pipe to another, so you would need some that go from 3 to 2. Put them on, put the pipe in place, tighten the clamps and you're good to go. Probably wouldn't hurt to put a support in the center of the length of pipe. A plumber would most likely charge $100 - $150 for this job.
Q:What is pressing type pipe joint
If necessary, I will send you the connector type and specifications
Q:Is there any way to lock a folder on my desktop with a code or hide it so that only someone who knows where it is can find it?
I use to get Quest pipe fittings from Lowes, but they don't carry it anymore. I would check with a mobile home dealer in your area. (note: I did my current house with Quest when I built it in 2004, and no leaks have been noticed. I used the more expensive mechanical type fittings rather than the crush on type.) If all else fails, there is copper water lines, but I recommend you use mechanical fittings rather than solder type fittings. If you use copper, you will not have problems unless they freeze up.
Q:Cam you blind a video camera with a fire extinguisher ?
Check out Tank fittings with a plumbers merchant. Half inch tank fittings are available in brass. There are also Flat brass back nuts for sink Taps, also in half inch size.
Q:Basically when my alarm goes off, I wake up in a haze, but am not aware enough to know I have to actually GET UP and go to work.Anyone have any tricks for actually getting up when the alarm goes off?
Synthetic resins are materials with similar properties to natural resins—viscous liquids capable of hardening. They are typically manufactured by esterification or soaping of organic compounds. The classic variety is epoxy resin, manufactured through polymerization-polyaddition or polycondensation reactions, used as a thermoset polymer for adhesives and composites. Epoxy resin is two times stronger than concrete, seamless and waterproof. As such it has been mainly in use for industrial flooring purposes since the 1960s. Since 2000, however, epoxy and polyurethane resins are used in interiors as well, mainly in Western Europe. One more category, which constitutes 75% of resins used, is unsaturated polyester resin. Ion exchange resin is another important class with application in water purification and catalysis of organic reactions. See also AT-10 Resin, melamine resin. Another synthetic polymer is also sometimes called by the same suffix, acetal resin. By contrast with the other synthetics, however, it has a simple chain structure with the repeat unit of form -[CH2O]-.
