Q:why is plastic apparatus sterilized?
The rising use of plastics in medical devices means that their sterilization capability becomes the key selection criteria for use in medical devices. The paper details the various sterilization methods for medical devices, and also lists the AAMI and ISO standards for sterilization. Importance of considering the possible sterilization methods at early stage of product design is highlighted, stating the fact that various plastics respond differently to particular sterilization methods. General sterilization performance of a range of plastics is listed in the form of a table.
Q:i need new plastic for a honda recon?

Q:What is more environment-friendly: paper or plastic? Why?
I would have answered Bayong! But you might think I am a fanatic for the Pera O Bayong segment in Wowowee. I think this bayong (bag made of buli leaves, or whatever organic tree it came from) is not only environment-friendly but economically better, since you only buy it once or twice, and it might even survive the buyer by a good many years. But who the hell goes to a shopping mall carrying a bayong? And it is not among the choices, so what am I blabbering about? Paper! It's simply a piece of paper as the critics say of that unsigned treaty, which is again deviating from the subject. We can so easily burn it! The paper bag, I mean.
Q:Will a plastic demijohn afect the taste?
plastic is OK... its debatable if it affects the flavor, the nice thing is it may be easier to keep the light out, which light can affect the flavor. most brewers of cider and beer use plastic fermentation buckets these days, which are cheaper than demijohns or carboys usually. so a plastic demijohn is MORE than adequate. as for capping it, as long as you have a good airlock, wether you use a cork or a bung it shouldn't matter it does the same thing, keeps air out, while letting CO2 past the airlock.
Q:Paper Vs. Plastic?
Plastic, I can re use a plastic bag. I've had the same 4 re-usable bags for over 2 years now and they are still going strong, like to see a paper one do that. I would prefer a natural fibre one, but have you seen what shops charge for those? My girlfriend tells me paper bags take a lot more energy to produce too
Q:If we were to stop using plastic bags at stores?!?!?
Most plastic bags aren't recyclable, paper bags are biodegradable. the remaining plastic bags would probably just enter the landfill because it would likely take more energy to recycle them than to not (other than picking up dog crap). The point is we need to stop using plastic bags because they are suffocating our world, I live in a place where all the major stores now charge 5 cents a plastic bag, everyone uses the cloth ones now and you can see the difference: no bags caught in branches or fences we don't need to deliberate over the fate of the remaining plastic bags, we just need to start changing now.
Q:Easy to recycle plastics?
the way i understand it, all plastics are easy to recycle. Only problem is determined by the cost. The cheapest are not much subjected to recycle but dispose of unlike the thick and big ones that would command high scrap value. I hope malls would charge 500% more from the cost of their bags so consumers would be forced to reuse them or bring along their own bags when shopping.
Q:Swatch what about the plastic mechanical watches?
Mechanical watches rely on the pendulum to supplement the energy, while the movement of the pendulum depends on your movement.
Q:help with plastic!!?
Although if you try to melt plastic bottles, they will release toxic gasses, so I would NOT reccomend that. Maybe you could go to the library? Or could you ask your science teacher at school? Or if it's due tomorrow, could you email them? Hope this helps.
Q:What are the main components of plastics?
Most plastics are made of some type of polymer, which is just a really, really, really big molecule. These can be crazy-long chains of carbons and other groups, and depending on what those groups are, your plastic can be strong and tough, or soft and flexible - or even heat-resistant. It is the structure of the polymer in the plastic that determines how the plastic behaves. Does that help?
