some alarms have a reset button right on the unit itself that is most of the time up under your dash on the drivers side,it needs to be reset it don't sense your remote any more, if its a good alarm it could be telling you the car battery is weak.just a guess.don't you have a second remote try that one and it might not sense that one either, then you know for sure it needs to be reset.the people that installed it will reset it for free takes a second when you know were the button is. have him show you.remote starters do the same thing.

Not familiar with the alarm system in your Odyssey but most are over-sensitive because of the glass breakage sensor. It is essentially a microphone located somewhere under the dash and most have a gain adjustment. If your system is original the dealer is likely to be your best place to go. At least they can find the adjustment. When it is adjusted right hitting the driver side A pillar (be pillar in front of the driver's door) hard with your fist should set it off but lesser hits should not.

I've heard that unless you unplug your computer and tv, or any other appliance, then you're using the same electricity whether it's on or off. Because from my experience you won't find any thing on the internet. If you really need an idea how about a 15ft mallet? No seriously a 15ft battery operated mallet. It would have be like a see saw having its fulcrum 15ft away form the can. A big cam using a combination of gears and moments (force weight by distance) would cause the mallet see saw to raise then drop on the can. I call it the mallet-saw(patent pending!).

Q:I just got a new Windows 7 laptop, and I am trying to save files into the Program Files folder using one of my programs (I used to always save my files into a Saves folder within the program folder in Program Files.)I tried setting the program files to not be Read-Only' and that did not fix the problem.When I try to go to security and edit permissions for the folder, all the options to give users and administrators permission to write in that folder are grayed out and I can't click on them!I am the administrator on this computer, yet it won't let my programs save without a permission that it won't let me give.How do I fix this?
