As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

Ball valve fireproof design is implementation of the API607,API6FA standards.According to service conditions and user requirements,ball valve can be designed as a fireproof structure.

)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet,are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately,ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load,but also improve the fire safety of the valve.But for the full welded ball valve,the valve body and cover is welded structure,that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage,there will be no leak.

Q:My AC leaks and mechanic says it is shrader valve. Is it expensive?
It is like the valve in a tire stem. No, it is dirt cheap - like four bucks if that. Why didn't mechanic just replace it? You can replace this yourself. Just go to a parts counter and ask them to look up your car and they will find a valve. Then ask them for the tool. You can probably get both for under $15. But you will have to wait until all the refrigerant leaks out of it hasn't already. You don't want to take out a valve from a pressurized system. You can also recharge the system yourself too. They now sell the hose that attaches to the can with a built in valve. It isn't difficult if you can follow directions.
Q:Around the relief valve there is water leaking it is not the valve it's self or the threads it's around the out side of it. The valve is on top of the heater
Sonds like the water heater itself is leaking. As the heater has an insulated jacket around it it is probably the easiest place for the water to escape. call a plumber. It is easyenough to test it to see if it is leaking.
Q:what would happen if valve was not adjusted right? and please explain
The intake valves allow a air/fuel charge to enter the combustion chamber, the exhaust valves allow it to leave. They need to close and seat properly so when the piston comes up on the compression stroke there is plenty of a compressed air/fuel charge for a strong combustion. Without this compressed charge you will have a little fire in the combustion chamber and not an explosion.
Q:Is there a product that can fit over a foot valve to give it further protection in muddy water? I am looking for something for forest firefighting in mind. Something like a screen box something else that can give it further protection. It would be nice if it was small, and compact. Pictures would definitely be an asset. Thanks to everyone that answers. most foot valves i have bought come with a strainer attached perhaps you should look for that type. if your valve has a strainer you may consider making a further coarse strainer out of a ball of chicken wire and place this over the foot valve assembly(thats what i do for the cold water supply to my house) don't compress the chicken wire very small as it will block up i tie the wire filter on with galvanized wire then i can easily replace it if necessary ps i tried stainless steel pot scourers but they were to fine and blocked easily
Q:I am buying a 2004 Ford Taurus tomorrow and want to know the difference between a 24 valve V-6, and 12 valve V-6...Now besides the obvious difference in the # of valves...Is one better then the other???
The 24 valve is a dual cam engine and has more power than the 12 valve engine. The 12 valve engine is a very reliable engine and is by far the most common engine in the Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable line. The 24 valve engine is the Duratec engine, I believe, and would be considered the 'performance' model. As far as fuel efficiency goes you probably wouldn't notice a big difference on the highway.
Q:I threw a birthday party last night, all went well until 2am when a crazy (drunk!) lady cut all the wires from my heating system (i guess as a prank??? dunno, she is never invited back). I have everything up and running when using one thermostat and connecting the thermostat wires (red directly to tv, Brown directly to W, and white directly to T) and not using the two Honeywell zone valves (model number V8043F. How do I connect those two zone valves to the L8148E aquastat?The valves have on bottom Th-TR, TH and TR and the two top screws are labeled end switch.If you need photos I can take them :)Thanks in advance!

Q:when there is fire in the building, the solenoid valve is activated but what happen inside the cylinder actally?
If the pressure in any one zone is different than the other zones it could be one of two reasons; either the pressure is high (usually due to one or more sprinkler heads not poping up), or its low (usually due to a leak in the pipes). Something that could cause low pressure in all the zones are an obstruction in the water line above the valves (unlikely), or a hole in the line above the valve (the water would be filling the valve box and causing damage to the lawn wherever it is located), or leaks in all the lines (again would be easy to identify from the excess water in the ground at the source of the leak). Lastly the valve itself could potentially be faulty. The solenoid inside the valve holds the valve open when electricity is applied across it. If the wires to it are damaged; if the solenoid is bad; or if the valve has any rust or dirt inside that could cause a lower than normal amount of water flow.
Q:ok so my 1993 bonneville started shaking and its smells like gas fumes in the car, so i cant drive it cause i have a newborn baby.so i took it to the dealership, they said codes 53,54,55,42,66 came up. they said i needed a new cadiletic converter, so i went to a local muffler shop. they said it was glowing cause it was so hot and said that wasnt the problem.i called the dealership back and they said they cleaned the egr vavle but said maybe it needs to be replaced, well before i spend any money i wanted to get everyones opinion, the car drive great, only shake when ur at idle. and smells awful inside uld this be the egr valve ?
A catalytic converter will glows red hot when raw fuel is introduced directly into it. The dealer is incorrect in saying that there is a problem with the converter itself. The problem is stemming from either the fuel or ignition system which would allow unburned fuel to pass through to the converter. Some possibilities are improper ignition timing, fouled spark plugs, air pump failure, Even though the catalytic converter glowing red hot is not caused from a clog if the converter is operated too long at a high temperature, its substrate will melt and re-harden. This would in turn cause exhaust blockage. Fix the fuel problem first and if the engine is still running rough (without a red hot converter), then it will need to be replaced.

Q:I have a rainbird Sprinkler system. One of the zones the sprinklers do not pop up. Someone said maybe the valve is stuck closed from the winter. How do you open and close the valve manually to loosen it back up. and where would this valve be located in the little green junction box near where the zone starts????
they dont really stick from the winter. i would say if the valve has a problem the diaphram needs replacing on the inside of it. ( all you have to do is find the same kind of valve and take the old parts out of the valve and replace them, the top, and the solenoid with the new valve's parts. they can be anywhere in your yard. ive even found the valve boxes buried under bushes. some installers don't put them in boxes, they just bury the valves. if you know where any of the green boxes are open the lids and see what's inside. sometimes more than one valve will be in a box. turn the solenoid on the valve. ( this will be the peice that the wire are connected to on the valve. dont turn the solenoid too much or it will come out. just a 1/4 to 1/2 a turn or so maybe a little more or less. and when you find the valve that turns on the zone 8 that is not working that is the valve for that section. you may even be able to hear the valve trying to come on when the timer shows it is running. if not, then check for power at the valve. if no power. there is a short, bad connection, or bad module in the timer. if power- replace just the solenoid first. if that doesnt work rebuild the valve. if you have no luck finding the box with zone 8 in it then try a few tips. get a screwdriver and poke around where some other valve boxes are. they may be close together. use a wire locator or hire a professional to locate the valve and show you how to repair it. to manually open and close the valve- open upthe solenoid like i said. or use the bleeder if the valve has one.
