2 separate issues. The fact you have permission legally to cash them does not mean you meet the requirement of the institution to agree to cash them at all. Stick with HER banks

You can either buy the power bank, use separate power adapters for each pedal or use batteries.

1. fdic will take care of your money in the event the bank goes out of business up to 250,000 2. the loan is an asset of the bank, the fdic takes over and will sell it. you still owe the money. 3. you can't control the banks unless you hold a major interest in that bank. Like now, citi has more government influence in it than other banks. This is why you hear of many banks wanting to pay back tarp money so fast. this way they get uncle sam out of their way.

It's called a Certificate of Deposit go to a bank and ask for a CD. It is a special account that holds your money but does not allow you to touch it for a certain amount of time. You can do a 6 month CD or something, which means you can add money to the account but the bank won't allow you to take any of it out until the 6 months is over. The banks also give CDs a higher interest rate, so your money will earn money while it's sitting! Good idea?

Yes, this will work with the jump cables. How long it takes depends on the size of the batteries and the current that your alternator can deliver.

You have to stop payment thru the bank which they charge you for (wachovia 25.00) I believe that only works with a check and not charge/debit unless you report your card stolen. But then you have to prove fraud! I had a store charge my card 400.00 when it should have been only 40.00. The store fixed their mistake however I still had some crazy fees to pay to the bank. They only credited my account one nsf fee! They told me I had to go to the store to have them pay all the fees!! This is why my husband wont go to a bank!!
