- If the candle wax is caked fairly thickly onto the sofa go to step 1. If it isn't very thick, skip to step 2. 1. Gently scrape some of the wax level down. (You can do this carefully with a heated vegetable peeler, knife, etc...) 2. Now you need a dry iron set to an appropriate setting (all irons are different) and lots of craft paper, or lots of paper towels, or lots of old t-shirts that you're using for rags, or old paper grocery bags. 3. Once the iron is to temperature, lay whatever you are using to absorb the wax, directly over the wax (paper, t-shirt, paper towels, etc.) Gently iron over the absorbent layer--continuously moving the absorbent layer to a clean position. NOTE: KEEP THE IRON MOVING ALSO--YOU DON'T WANT TO SCORCH YOUR SOFA!! 4. Be patient, step 3 can take a long time--depending on the size of the area covered with wax and the thickness of the wax spill. ALSO, if there is just a tiny bit of wax on your sofa, you may want to let it set and then just peel it up--be careful, you can peel up the top layer of the microfiber with this method. There are commercial products that remove wax. I would not recommend these unless you have a very, very, dark/black sofa. (Most contain an oil that can stain your fabric) Good Luck Best Wishes!!

- Q:Working with a client that wants to have a custom king size sofa built, I work for an interior design company and our re-upholstery guy cannot order this size from his manufacturer. I have looked almost everywhere on the internet for a king size sleeper sofa insert mechanism that is sold separate from a sofa. We are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so something close would be great, but any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
- The standard size of sofa beds is 'single', 'double', and 'queen size'. A few years ago, Castro Convertible's did produce a king size unit, but it turned out to be a flop. The couldn't sell. Not because of bad manufacturing, but because no one wanted king size. And that's the only company that I know of that tried that size. And of course, they manufactured all the parts to their products. No outside manufacturing. And I have a feeling that they must have some king size units laying around collecting plenty of dust. Why don't you contact them. I'm sure that you could buy a complete unit from that at a low low price. Probably cheaper than if you had a supply manufacturer build a king size mechanism from scratch. Just take out the mechanism from the Castro. And bingo, you're in business. Castro Furniture is on the internet. Good Luck.

- Most likely a UTI or bladder infection. Had the same problem when we moved, the cat started peeing everywhere and I though it was from the move, turned out she had a bladder infection. Take her to the vet, she will be fine in a week or so...

- In order to gain sofa status u must be in your husbands orders to the overseas base. He has to hav accompanied orders and you listed as the dependent who is accompanying him. When me and my children pcs'd with my husband upon entering the country over seas in which he is stationed I had to present my husbands orders. To obtain my sofa license which allows you to drive in another country and work I took the class on base and received if from security forces my husband is air force. But I do know that you can stay longer than 90 days if you exit the country and then return the following dAy,you can research Germay's visa laws and it will mention something about getting a longer visa. This is your best option or your husband can put in to amend his orders so they are accompanied and you can move there for the remainder of his tour. Depending on how long he has left of his tour it may not be worth it because amending orders takes time.
