- Finn.no is probably the largest used items web shop. OKorder hasn't made many inroads in Norway yet. The other option would be Fretex, but not as a web site. If you live in a reasonably sized town there probably is a fretex shop that does furniture. Of course you might be able to stretch to new, the wonderful Ikea isn't that silly as far as prices go. Be prepared though some of the taste is shocking!

- Research the different types of leather tanning; this and the type of surface will make a difference in how well it ages. Another thing to keep in mind is the construction of the furniture; research that also so you know what items are important.
- Q:I need something in my spare bedroom for my mother-in-law to sleep on when she comes to visit (about 2x per year, 2 weeks at a time). I currently have a full-size bed but I want to convert that room into an exercise room (treadmill and small area for yoga, pilates, etc.). The bed takes up far too much room to do all of these things. - The white sofa can really be a stand out in your room. I would trim in white and color the walls but wait until you have found your furniture and then color your walls to what you need. Pick your colors to make you look good. I watched . . .can't think of the name. . .but the TV show with the four women on Histeria Lane (LOL) and Brie is the redhead and her house is decorated to just make her colors pop. Even her car made her eyes just stand out. That's how you decorate and choose colors. You want someone to walk in the room and say how great you look. . .Good luck with it all. Just don't get in a hurry and find something you really like.

- Keep your eyes open while hitting second hand stores and garage sales. I wouldn't worry too much about the fabric or pattern, just the size and style of the loveseat. (probably a better 'fit' than a sofa) Then you can always purchase or make a slip cover in white canvas or heavy cotton duck. White slipcovers are really a cool idea....they give a softer, cool summer look AND if they get dirty or dusty...you just pull them off and toss in a hot wash with a bit of bleach and they look brand new. Slip covers also let you have a couple different colors and patterns for easy change in decorating.
