- Q:Im a military dependants and my husband next base is USA and we want me and the kids live with him, but we dnt have any visa to entering USA, can we use a Sofa visa in USA?
- No you cannot use the SOFA stamp to come into the US. The SOFA stamp is for when you are in a foreign country with the US military. To get into the US you need to do the proper immigration process. The children if they are his, even though born outside the US are US Citizens so they will not need a Visa or immigration. you as the spouse will, as you were living overseas you could have applied for Citizenship earlier if you wished. You can go to the Embassy and do the paperwork.
- Q:I am staying right now with my cousin and my son decided to sleep on the couch about 3 nights ago and he peed on the sofa....how can I get the smell out? I have tried using wintergreen alcohol and I have tried using distilled vinegar but the smell is still there does anyone have and suggestions for me?
- The only way to remove urine odor is to use a product that has enzymes in it. The enzymes actually eat the bacteria causing urine and are safe and nontoxic. Vinegar and baking soda and all those other little tricks don't truly work for urine smells. The best place to find a urine cleaner is at a pet store and I have found the more expensive ones to be better. I buy SOX. I prefer this because you just soak (really soak) the smelly area and then leave it. When it is completely dry, you can vacuum the area. The enzymes will do all the work. Many other products have a soapy substance in it and leave a soapy film and then you are left trying to get all the soapy watery substance out. Because these soapy products are watered down, they don't work as good as the concentrated ones. I tried Urine B Gone, and it is a good product; however, I ordered mine over the telephone. I received the product a full six months later along. I had ordered 2 bottles and received only 1 but was charged for 2 on my credit card. Ended up paying about $68.00 (Canadian) for one little bottle. After many phone calls, I was able to trace the charge (with Visa's help) to Eagle Eye Marketing, but they didn't appear to have any address or phone number and I learned my lesson and will never order anything from television again. I am getting off topic here - in summary - go to a pet store and avoid buying the cheaper, soapier solutions.

- Usuanlly a non-acidtone nail remover will remove the spot without eating thru the fabric, but the trick is to blot it and not rub it. Considering that you have a white sofa though, and depending upon the type of fabric depends upon how it hold holds the stain. If it's on a seating cushion, and it still dosen't work your best bet is to flip it.

- Yep - I had a Flexsteel sofa from the 70's. I just got rid of it about 4 years ago - not because it went to hell, but the color was just so out of style and I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! (gold and green) Flexsteel is not the top of the line, but I have to admit - It went through 2 kids and 6 pets and it lasted.

- Costic sofa? Do you mean caustic soda? It's also known as lye and sodium hydroxide. It's an ingredient in many soaps, so if it's diluted properly it can clean your face. But if not diluted properly, it can quite literally eat your skin away, never mind the upper layer. Unless you find a recipe for what you want to do, I wouldn't touch it. I don't know that chemical peeling of your skin is something that's a DIY thing.

- Just a tip, if you have small children don`t buy a light colored sofa.. Aside from that i liked them both, but prefer the dark charcoal, then you can use vibrant colors on your accessories much easier. If you scroll down the page where the dark sofa was there`s a great square coffee table that would fit perfectly with that sofa!
