- sage will add a refreshing touch -beige and most browns are neutrals so add any color you like .something i suggest to my clients that may sound silly but it works is to go through your wardrobe ,laying different color pieces (one at a time) on the sofa step back and take a good hard look its an easy way to see what colors you really like with and go well with your sofa and carpet once you've narrowed it down leave each piece separately there on the sofa for a day to see if you like it enough to live with it before spending any money-have fun with it
- Q:Just bought a second hand couch and loveseat...im pretty pissed now because I get it home and because I do not have a dog, now I can smell it. I tried everything...EVERYTHING...I heard vinegar works. Its a microfiber set, will it even soak in? Has this method worked for stubborn smells such as this for anyone? - I would definitely go with a leather sofa. Leather sets are durable, adjust to body temperature and easy to maintain. Leather outlasts fabric by far, so that is your best option. Be careful when buying leather, ask for 100% genuine leather all around the set. What that means is, the back and sides should also be leather, not leather match, leatherette, or anything like that. Also, make sure you ask for at least top grain leather, you don't want split leather or buffalo leather.
- Q:i just moved with my husband (active US Army) to Germany..I have my country's passport and my husband is a US Citizen..I know for tourist,that its up to 90 days to live in Germany..Im command sponsored but was told to get a SOFA stamp in order to reside in Germany..For those who were stationed in Germany or overseas know that its about 2-3 years to be stationed overseas..i was told in order to get a SOFA stamp,i need to get some kind of USA visa (green card)..theres some spouse,same situation,just applied for SOFA stamp and got approved without getting a permenant residence card (green card)...the military legal is no help and its hard getting thru the US consulate..any suggestion would help..thanks :)
- Green Card/Alien Resident Card is NOT necessary for you to get the SOFA Stamp at all. You will not go through the US Consulate as you are not a US Citizen, you need to go through the German Consulate and find out if a visa from them for your home country is required or not. They can require it or they might not. Either way you will get the SOFA stamp after arrival. If you are already in Germany then you need to go through German Immigration.
