- So, here's what I'd do: Wait for the paint to dry completely. I *would not* try to use any solvents or abrasives to remove the stuff from leather. At best you'll soften the paint and spread it out of a larger area of the sofa. At worst, you'll ruin the leather. When the paint is dry, press down on it with a finger. It should crack the paint. Now remove it with your fingernails or a plastic scraper. If there are tiny paint specks on the sofa the scraper is the way to go. Good luck with this.

- You are either looking for a sofa bed or a futon. Both turn into beds. Whichever you choose, make sure you pay for the best as there are many choices out there that are terribly uncomfortable. Be aware that sofa beds are quite heavy to move around. A futon is not.

- Q:A sticker was stuck to my microfiber/suede (? - not sure which type of fabric it is) sofa and left a sticky residue on it. How can I remove the stickiness?
- I had sticky residue on a wood effect floor, and was worried about using anything other than water on it. I used baby oil, and it worked a treat. A tiny drop on a kitchen towel, and the residue came off easily. I then just wiped over the floor with a damp cloth. Try it on a bit of leather at the back first though to make sure that it won't damage the leather.
- Q:My 2.5 yr old just had a huge accident on my microfiber sofa. I have a towel soaking it up but I don't know what to use on it now. It's a dark brown color, so stains usually don't show that much, but it was a LOT of pee. I can not take the cushions off. I just tried blotting it up with towels and then ran my Kerby vaccum over it. It's still very wet and I don't know if it worked. Any suggestions?
- If your sofa is a true micro fiber than the liquid should just wipe off the surface. It seems that blotting should not be necessary. water/vinegar solution should work for the odor and steam can sanitize it. here is a link that describes how to care for a microfiber sofa. Good Luck

- Go to the grocery store and look for raw sugar. I would get the carpeting as close to that color as possible. It is a warm and inviting light and pleasing carmel color. Good Luck.
- Q:i want to put new fabric on it..... i dont want to spend hundreds on reupholstering it.... how can i do it myself without burning a hole in my pocket.....
- If you like to sew and are pretty good at it... maybe you would like to just make a slip cover? I would go to the library and check out some books on reupholstering.... depending on the style it might be hard. My mom made a slip cover to cover the body of her sofa and then sewed pillow case around the loose pillows so it didn't look like a slip cover (like one piece of fabric draped over it.)
