- Q:My son's pull-up leaked over on to my parents brand new sofa!! Fortunately he was only leaned against the cushion, so the foam isn't soaked through. Can this fabric be cleaned safely without removing the cover? I have never successfully reinserted a foam cushion (at least not solo) and these look exceptionally well fitted. We will all be alot happier if they never know about this. Naturally this had to happen on the first new furniture they have ever bought since having kids. Need I say more. HELP!!!
- Use the lil alcohol wipes (like the ones you see at the docs office) you can by them at any discount chain and they are miracle workers. They also work well on suede!!!

- You could get leather, as leather will go with anything. However, there are a lot of styles and qualities of leather sofas. If you have a lot of kids and pets, I would wait on the leather. Go to a furniture store and look at what they have. Most stores have a designers section where you can check out fabric samples. I would suggest getting a durable fabric with a high # rating that will last for years and... get one that is in a print with lots of different colors (easier to hide spills and stains).

- You can't but any kind of decent sleeper sofa for $450. The best you could hope for would be a futon type of thing. We slept on a good quality sofa sleeper for a few years, and they are not good beds if you want a comfortable mattress. If you get a sleeper sofa, you also have to deal with the bedding every single time you convert it from sofa to bed. I would buy a new bed and maybe look for a used sofa, if you need both.

- If this is a leather sofa please do not try nail varnish remover or any other solvent. You may be lucky and find that it peels off depending what type of leather you have. If it does it may still leave a mark or remove the colour. Nail varnish remover will definitely remove the pigment from your suite as well as the nail varnish, you will then have another difficult problem to resolve.

- You will NEVER match the leather, so don't even consider that remedy. However, HM is a very good quality sofa, so I would highly consider having the seat back cushions reupholstered in a rich tapestry fabric. The look is very fashionable the cost will be RELATIVELY minimal. Call the best upholsterer you can afford cause this will be a worthwhile investment.
