Q:When does a stool become a chair?
I think that a stool becomes a chair when it gets a back D:
Q:car tires into chairs?
Maybe cut a quarter of them out, then find some way to secure actual seats and backs of chairs to them. Then add supportive legs. I wish I had a way to visually show you what I mean, but I hope you understand that. If not that way, then perhaps, depending on how big they are, you could eihter cut them in half or leave them whole and put two next to eachother forming a couch and use two more (or two halves) as the back. Either way be sure to secure some sort of padding onto it, because tires arent' the comfiest things to sit on. Good luck! Sounds like a creative plan. If neither way of mine works, try googling it.
Q:Lyrical dance song that talks about a chair?
Q:Are you supposed to sit back in the chair in band?
It's true: you are supposed to sit up straight, because it takes pressure off your diaphragm and you can breathe easier. It also depends on what you're playing. I play saxophone, and I find myself sitting a little bit forward on the chair, because the horn is usually between my knees, not over my lap. I have found that by keeping the horn straight, the mouthpiece fits better over the neck, and the pitch won't go out because I adjusted the mouthpiece to get the right angle on it. Also, if I'm playing a tenor, I can balance the weight of the horn on the thumb-rest (it takes some getting used to, but it works).
Q:In how many ways can five couples be seated in a row of 10 chairs if no couple is separated? Explain how you a?
25 cuz thers 5 couples and they must be together so 10/2 = 5 so two per couple right? so thers one couple that can sit in five differebt ways or places on the bench or wat ever. so if theres five couples it would be 5 x 5 = 25
Q:What does office furniture include?
Solid wood, plate type, steel category, glass, steel and glassOffice furniture (conference chair, staff chair, boss chair, and class chairs, booth, desk, desk etc.), file cabinets, filing cabinets, cabinets, shelves, screen partition, sofa, tea table, insurance box,
Q:,Making seat covers for a computer chair, how to do?
Unscrew the chair bottom and turn upside down on top of your fabric. Lift edge of fabric over chair edge and see how much it takes to be able to staple to the bottom. Cut fabric around chair bottom that much. staple middle of front....pull fabric tight and staple middle of back. Do the same thing on the sides and continue stapleing and pulling fabric. Do the same thing for the seat back.
Q:Time to get a new office chair, or can i fix this one?
I doubt the chair is ruined, it just needs some routine maintenance. Most such chairs have 4 screws which hold the bottom of the chair seat to a metal bracket on the top of the pneumatic height adjusting column [the pole you mention]. It is common for these screws to work loose, and often some actually fall out on the floor. I SUSPECT that this is what has happened in your case. It sounds like you have at least two [maybe 3 - left front and rear, and right rear] screws totally gone [on the side OPPOSITE to the direction to which it's ,,,tilting drastically... Turn the chair upside-down, and examine the four slotted screw openings in the metal bracket on top of the vertical support column. Tighten any loose screws, and get down on your hands and knees to try to find any missing screws. IF there are any missing screws, remove one of the remaining screws and take it to a local, neighborhood HARDWARE STORE, and get IDENTICAL replacements for the missing screws [and I always get 2 or 3 extras to keep in my desk drawer for when another screw is lost - it WILL happen]. Use IDENTICALLY THREADED [AND LENGTH] screws, and periodically recheck and re-tighten all screws.
Q:why are chairs attached to desks?
Very good question...I wondered about this in the past too. The reason chairs and seeks are together is a combination of all of the answers above. It's easier to monitor, has less distractions, and is less expensive. The main reason is the cost to make these desks and chairs is very low. The schools want to save as much money as possible and when they combine desks and chairs this saves them literally 50% of money. Anything we try to combine almost saves us time and money. You know how it is when it comes to saving money, time, and efficiency any business or institution is willing to comply. Everyone's answer was good and all of these reasons where correct in my opinion. I hope you find the answer you where looking for have nice day.
Q:Load distribution on Tripod Chair?
Can we look at the cautions and exceptions to this model? First of all the back legs in a normal chair are not at the back of the seat but extend out further so they are under the top of the back of the chair or further. In addition, the center of mass of someone sitting in a chair is not in the center of the chair but is close to the bottom of the tilted back where the hip bones support the upper half or more of the body weight. Having said that, change the specifications so the 135kg is centered on the chair seat and the single support is moved in various locations from that center away from the front legs (and the chair itself has no weight) The distance from the front legs to the middle is D and the seat is 2D deep. The distance from the middle to the rear support is X and varies from 0 to D. When X is 0, then entire weight is on the rear support. When X is D, then half the weight is on the front legs and half on the support. Therefore the amount of weight in any position is F = 135 * (D / (D + X)) When X =0, D/D+0 = 1 When X =D, D/D+D = 1/2
