Q:egr valve on an 89 corsica?
You have likely got a bit of carbon in the EGR that you can clean after you remove it, I usually spray some penetrating oil into the valve hold my finger over the hole that I sprayed into and turn the valve over, if it leaks the seat is dirty and cleaning the carbon out may help. also push up on the plunger several times to be sure that it doesn't stick alternate carb cleaner with penetrating oil until the valve is free and no longer leaks when inverted. As far as your question the test you described doesn't test the EGR or the EGR solenoid correctly at all. On some the car needs to be in gear to actuate the EGR, all you need to do is check that there is vacuum to the solenoid and that the EGR valve works freely. If the EGR fails to work the check engine light should be on and you can check the code to get a clue as to why.
Q:Do blow-off valves cause problems in Audi tts?
Blow off valves are nice, but they aren't terribly good for your car. The main problem is that when the turbo isn't running, that open valve will suck unfiltered air into the engine and can seriously damage it. Blow offs are also pretty inefficient as you lose a good portion of the air in your turbo system. The best thing you can do is just get a good Forge diverter valve. Well made, looks nice, and will add a pretty decent amount of performance.
Q:Where can i find a three-way air pressure valve?
You might have to register on the site to order online. It is free. You can call them and order the catalog. It is free also. Hope this helps Email me if you want me to look it up in my catalog. Don't break any windows. Wingman
Q:How do I shut off a leaky hot water valve?
It sounds like you have some lime build up in the valves if you can't shut them off or the rubber gaskets inside the valves are worn. Valves are made of brass which doesn't rust. only steel and iron rust. Try tightening the packing nut. That's the nut just below the shut off valve handle. If that doesn't work shut the warter off at the water heater and take the valve apart. First remove the handle from the stem with a screw driver, next remove the packing nut (usually 7/16) then put the handle back on a turn it counter clockwise. Inspent the valve stem, valve seat and the rubber gasket or washer for wear. If you see any lime build up (it will be a hard white substance) remove it with Lime Away or one of those brands. It the valve is very old you may have to replace it. If you own the house replace the valve with a quarter turn ball valve, They are more expensive, but will last a lot longer.
Q:aortic valve stenosis severe amemia hemoglobin 9.1 ?
From personal experience yes it can. My mothers hemoglobin dropped down to 8.0. The Dr said it was because of her stenosis in her aortic valve causing her to bleed in her abdomen. She had her heart surgery and it came back up, just like the Dr said it would.
Q:what happens when the valve guides of ur car gets damaged?
will burn oil, needs replaced and valves resetted in the heads. the heads will need to be removed and taken to a machine shop for this.
Q:Cold air intake - bypass valve or not?
I okorder.com (i think thats it) for them, Im pretty sure thats where I saw them. Whatever you do though, dont drill a hole in it.
Q:Warped valves on my car? ?
Warped Valves? I take it you are talking about the engine? {May you mean Bent Valve Steams?} is the Head(s) apart and you have seen this? If it is Bent Steams there is no fix, Replace Valves Valve Guides. [Did some guess at this? the only real way to tell is have the head(s) off]
Q:How do you clean an EGR valve?
you don,t want to use water. the way i clean mine on my oldsmobile is i take it off and take a rag and some carburator cleaner and clean the bottom off where those little pintals are at. make sure the pintals work back and forth without sticking.
Q:Dump Valve!?!?!?!?!?
if i remember rite you can adjust the control settings for your dump valve so that it will dump at a lower pressure and a lower pressure dump should also give you the sound that you are looking for.
