FAQ about Tower Crane

Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?

A: Four main categories: normal  tower crane  with cat head, internal climbing  tower crane , top less  tower crane  and luffing  tower crane.

Q: What kind of steel used for  tower crane ?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: What about our  tower crane  warranty?

A: Usually there is one-year quality warranty including main electronic parts (not including consumable parts). There are consumable spare parts together with whole machine and normally they are enough for one year.

Q: What is 3 main mechanism of the  tower crane ?

A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.

Q: Can you equip with light on  tower crane  jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients' requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q:What's the difference between QTZ63 and qtz630, isn't it the same kind of tower crane?
It's the same kind of tower crane, but it's only a unit of rated lifting torque. The former unit is 63 tons. M, the latter is 630 kn m. According to the latest national standard "tower crane", GB/T5031-2008 and QTZ63 are written correctly.
Q:I am looking for guidance on determining the optimal design parameters for the design of an overhead travelling crane when considering a span of 60m and a lift requirement of 2500Tonnes. If not possible what would be the maximum lift for the same span
is the 60 is the traveling distance or the span? if it is the span then this no way can be achieved or found, also 2500 tons is not logic for a single lift, you need to verify the design requirements. Usually crane span is related to structural frame spans, the lift has to be a practical one, which ranges from 1 ton to a 250 tons which is again very rare, majority traveling cranes are from 1 ton to 25 tons
Q:Cranes are normally used in construction in most countries. But I saw some photos that show Iranians are hanging criminals in pubic with cranes instead of gallows. Is it more painful to the dying criminals to the last moment?Do you know why?
they probably didn't have the proper arrangements to carry out the punishment so they used cranes instead of gallows. who knows? but weird really. and it wouldn't be more painful... err... the purpose is to snap the neck... ouch :(
Q:Tower crane four limit, two insurance, two insurance what is that?
Refers to the air switch and the electric leakage protector in the electric tray.
Q:please tell me where you found the info.

Q:All types of jack up cranes. How is the maximum lifting torque converted?
Tower crane lifting torque = crane maximum lifting weight * maximum operating range; for example: the maximum lifting weight is 2T*, the maximum operating range of 50 meters =1000KN.m.
Q:i need six colors mentioned in the story and wat each one means thanks :)
From: The Open Boat By Stephan Crane. These waves were of the hue of slate... ...save for the tops, which were of foaming white... In the wan light, the faces of the men must have been grey. ...the color of the sea changed from slate to emerald-green... ...wild with lights of emerald and white and amber. ...near patches of brown seaweed... ... at the men with black bead-like eyes. ... marked by dingy clouds, and clouds brick-red, ... Ain't they peaches? A faint yellow tone came into the sky over the low land. ... a small bluish gleam on the edge of the waters. ... with a sky of pure blue...
Q:I am NCCCO certified here in the US and would like to know how to be able to work as an operator in France.
Me too(NCCCO) how long for you? What do you run? I run a Terrex/demag a/c 140, Grove TMS 870, and a little national 40 ton. Anyway, sorry I don't have an answer but the other day just for kicks I was looking around to see what's going on and searching crane operator+job and there's a huge worldwide company, slips my mind but they kept coming up all over hiring operators all over the world. Give that a try, if I was single I'd be going everywhere, and getting PAID to do it but my wife and kids mean too much to be away. Try this.... search crane service+france email some crane outfits and ask around, it can't hurt.
Q:How would you argue that Helga Crane does change in Quicksand by Nella Larsen?
Helga Crane
Q:Hi, I'd like to know what a crane symbolises in the asian(?) culture. any other meaningful symbols do list.
The cranes' beauty and their spectacular mating dances have made them highly symbolic birds in many cultures with records dating back to ancient times. Crane mythology is widely spread and can be found in areas such as the Aegean, South Arabia, China, Korea, Japan and in the Native American cultures of North America. In northern Hokkaidō, the women of the Ainu people, whose culture is more Siberian than Japanese, performed a crane dance that was captured in 1908 in a photograph by Arnold Genthe. In Korea, a crane dance has been performed in the courtyard of the Tongdosa Temple since the Silla Dynasty (646 CE). In Mecca, in pre-Islamic South Arabia, the goddesses Allat, Uzza, and Manah, who were believed to be daughters of and intercessors with Allah, were called the three exalted cranes (gharaniq, an obscure word on which 'crane' is the usual gloss). See The Satanic Verses for the best-known story regarding these three goddesses. The Greek for crane is Γερανο? (Geranos), which gives us the Cranesbill, or hardy geranium. The crane was a bird of omen. In the tale of Ibycus and the cranes, a thief attacked Ibycus (a poet of the 6th century BCE) and left him for dead. Ibycus called to a flock of passing cranes, who followed the murderer to a theater and hovered over him until, stricken with guilt, he confessed to the crime. Pliny the Elder wrote that cranes would appoint one of their number to stand guard while they slept. The sentry would hold a stone in its claw, so that if it fell asleep it would drop the stone and waken.
