Q:I inherited some hybrid clubs and was wondering what woods/irons they replace? They are a 17, 20, 23, 26, and 29 degree hybids.
A heads up on those Honda camber kits. Most of them are absolute garbage with a rep for breaking. Go to a reputable front end shop that won't install that cheap crap.
Q:Why do you lose iron when you are on your period?
Menstrual blood is high in iron content and iron deficency anaemia is very common. Foods with iron include pasta and green vegetables. A healthy diet provides enough iron for most people. I'm 15 (and I don't eat meat) and I'm slightly anaemic. It's not dangerous but it is something that is important to stay on top of. I take an iron supplement and vitamin C which aids in iron absorption. BTW if you think you may have an iron deficency you want to see your doctor. I learned it from results from a blood test. I feel fine. Please Don't assume you are anaemic and take iron on your own because iron is toxic at high doses and the symptoms of anaemia are also symptoms of other conditions. The only way to know you if are anaemic is diagnosis from a blood test. Best wishes and I hope this helps. :)
Q:I have to take calcium and vitamin B twice a day, as well as iron tablets, also twice a day. I am told calcium prevents absorbtion of iron. What should be the interval between the calcium tablets and the iron tablets? Is one hour enough?
Regarding iron, there is evidence that calcium can interfere with its absorption. For this reason, it is advised to avoid taking iron supplements with calcium supplements or even with milk. Additionally, some studies suggest that ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) can enhance the absorption of iron when taken together, so orange juice or apple juice might be a good choice here. Also, some studies suggest that iron can impair the absorption of calcium. Additionally, caffeine may also impair calcium absorption, so beverages containing caffeine should be limited or avoided. Ingestion of oxalates (found in chocolate and spinach) and phytates (found in whole grains) can also impair calcium absorption. If you are worried about improper calcium/iron absorption, depending on what else you take, you can wait at least two or more hours after the iron to take the calcium. Another point to consider is that calcium absorption is increased in an acidic environment, so tablets should be taken with meals.
Q:can I still exercise with low iron or will I pass out. Iron is 13 (norm 20-150)? I need to lose like 40lbs this year!Thank you
well I'm not too sure, but you need to have a combination of a balanced nutrition and a good exercise routine.
Q:today at the range i was hitting my short irons beautifully. then i started getting onto the 6, 5, and 4 irons and it all went down hill from there. does anybody have any ideas as to why i cant hit the long irons but i can hit short irons? any tips to help me out?any and all help is greatly appreciated :)
There have been many popular jokes about the difficulty of hitting long irons. My favorite is Lee Trevino's quip about God, lightning and a 1-iron. He's right. Tough club to hit. In fact, the 1-iron had a very brief lifespan in my bag when I was a junior golfer. Whatever iron is the longest in your bag, the key is hitting the ball flush, because there is no substitute for solid contact. The way I set up to the ball often depends on the feel of the shot. For a stock long-iron shot, I position the ball just inside my left heel, much like I do with a fairway wood. If I need to hit a low shot, I'll position the ball farther back in my stance. Nothing against the utility clubs that have replaced the longer irons in most average players' bags, but there is no better feeling than a well-struck long iron that soars high and lands softly. Shallow out the arc of your swing To hit the long irons solid, it helps to have a shallow, more rounded arc on the backswing and to hit the ball at the bottom of the arc on the downswing. You want to attack the ball with the clubhead coming from inside the target line. A shallow arc also allows you to sweep the ball with your long irons as opposed to the steep swing you use with the shorter irons to hit down and through the ball. The player who beats down on the ball with a long iron will have a tough time getting it in the air. Jack Nicklaus, one of the game's best long-iron players, never seemed to take a divot. Most amateurs don't swing the club level through impact. They try to help the ball get airborne by lifting up through impact, and as a result they hit their long irons thin. Some amateurs swing too steeply on the backswing, bottom out the arc too soon on the downswing and hit it fat. Instead, think of swinging your arms around your body, and staying tall through impact.
Q:Okay, well I straighten my hair almost everyday, and my hair is getting damaged. What is the best flat iron, and shampoo/conditioner to use?I‘m trying to look for a flat iron that doesn‘t do much damage to my hair.
TPI is threads per square inch, refering to the cord and/or other reinforcing material used to fuse with the rubber. both of the above posts are correct, the higher the number, the stronger the tire, but it does add a little bit of weight but let's face it, sometimes you flat, sometimes you don't. depends on what you run over, how fast you are going, and if your tires are pumped up to the proper pressures.
Q:I am looking to buy TaylorMade's r7 irons, but I do not know what the difference between draw irons and regular irons are. Can someone explain?
A draw bias iron will have more weight placed toward the heel of the club, which helps promote a right to left ball flight for right handed golfers.
Q:Who would win and why?I say Iron Fist!
Iron Fist would win easily. With his chi power, Green Arrow's various arrow would not withstand against Iron Fist's chi power.
Q:So lately right before my period is suposed to start I get really dizzy and start to black out my mom said its because I‘m dehydrated and I need to start taking iron and some multivitamins I missed my period last month and was wondering if iron will help straighten it out (I‘m taking iron any ways) Also I‘m 13
Iron doesn't regulate periods. When you lose a lot of blood, you become anemic (not enough red blood cells) and iron is needed by your body to produce more. Getting dizzy and blacking out is a symptom of this.
