Q:how do plastics affect the enviornment?
plastics are mainly bad because they never decompose, at least not in a realistic amount of time. That means that once they are made, they're here for good, taking up space and being more trash we have to deal with. Also, if plastics are burned, they produce toxic fumes which are not good for the environment. There are also cases of animals joking on things like plastic bags and getting caught in other plastic materials, if they are just left around. Plastics are also made from petroleum products and some people would argue this isn't good because we are trying to use less oil. I would guess that the best plastics to use, if you had to use plastics, would be the ones made from reusable material, like corn (there are some). Or plastics that are recyclable. And of course, make sure you properly dispose of plastic when you are done (in the trash). Plastics have done more to save energy and help the environment than people think, actually. While they have negative effects like the ones i mentioned earlier, there are many positives. Plastics are much much lighter that other packaging materials, and this accounts for thousands and thousands of gallons of oil when you add up everything that is shipped. Plastics are also a lot thinner, making it possible to ship many more plastics bags (for example), than paper bags.
Q:Should I plastic process my diploma?
I personally think that paying a business to laminate your GED diploma would be a waste of money. I would suggest that you just get some inexpensive plastic document protectors and put your diploma in one of those and store it and other important documents in a safe place. I keep my important documents in such a plastic sleeve, and in a watertight plastic storage container in a cabinet away from any water pipes. My documents are safe, and can be accessed when I need to show them to an entity, such as when I try to rent an apartment. As to your Social Security card, you are actually NOT supposed to laminate it. Again, put it in a plastic protective sleeve and store it in a safe (and easily remembered) place. You really should not carry your Social Security card around with you. The only time you need to use it is mainly when applying for jobs or housing. If you lose your card, that 'opens the door' for someone to steal your identity, which is NOT a pleasant scenario.
Q:Decorating Plastic Container?
you are able to decoupage them. Decoupage is somewhat white glue and water blended jointly. you are going to be able to make your very own or purchase it already made. Coat the container with the decoupage and lay napkins, or cloth or maybe pictures of gardens. low fee, yet truly exceptionally.
Q:Top Chicago plastic surgeons?
What okorder.com You can find back issues of their listings at any Chicago-area public library.
Q:Do they sell Polaris Sportsman plastics?
put it in your local newspaper classifieds
Q:enamel paint on plastic?
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/aw3ID There are TWO possible reasons for enamel paints being tacky after FOUR days: 1) Painting during high humidity. The moisture in the air isn't permitting the paint to shed it's moisture and dry. The Cure... buy a dehumidifier, or wait for better weather to do your painting. 2) The miniatures are of an incompatible plastic... the enamel paints are acting as a solvent and are softening the plastic. The reaction is constantly keeping the paint tacky. I'd be curious to know the manufacturer of the tanks, and your location weather-wise. GOOD LUCK.
Q:I need examples of plastic polymers?
plastic polymers are all over the place. One example is polystyrene, more commonly known as styrofoam. Another example is polyvinyl chloride (what PVC pipe is made of, and what the PVC stands for). Yet another example is polyester. A lot of clothes are made of this. Just about every plastic product you can think of from a plastic bag at a grocery store, to the plastic wraps and containers that you store food in to save for later are polymers. Your milk jug? a polymer. A bottle of water or pop? Polymer. Some of your clothes contain polymers. There are so many polymers in the world and they're often found in common everyday products. Plastics make it possible.
Q:Question about reusing plastic bottles?
It's perfectly safe to reuse plastic bottles. Clean it with boiling water. You could buy a stainless steel water bottle from a camping store. There is nothing wrong with selling water. Of course what you are really paying for is the convenience of getting the water in a plastic bottle that you can take with you and the processing of the water to make sure it's clean. All of that cost money.
Q:Plastic bottles?
The clever designers of plastic items know where to provide ribbing to strengthen the bottles so that they have the maximum strength without needing to use more material to make the bottle. Without the ribs and the pushed-in bottom the sides and the bottom would bulge outward from the pressure of the liquid inside.
Q:My cat is licking plastic?!?!?
Most cats do that it is normal but it may just be bored or may be feeling sick like dog eat grass when they wanna throw up so it plastic for cats
