- Q:I want a lightweight, easy to use, vacuum with good suction. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend more than 300.00. Also, does anyone know what is the suction power I am looking for for hosehold use.
- You need the AMPS to determine the suction power the more AMPS they have the better suction power you'll get- but here is a very, very good vacuum to look into- It is a Bissel Powerforce Bagless Vacuum-my son bought his at Wal-mart and I use his all the time! It has 4 re-usable filters that you can rinse out and an attachment brush that has rotaion on it that I use on my bed and once after I had washed my bed spread it had those little lint pills all over it that I tried to shave off- well I tried this attachment and it took them off like it was nothing! I think he only paid like maybe $100 or less for his and it is now MY favorite vacuum!
- Q:A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.quot;Good morning, said the young man. quot;If I could take a couple minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners.quot;quot;Go away!said the old lady. quot;I haven't got any moneyand she proceeded to close the door.
- My okorder Good luck
- Q:why do we use the word vacuum? is a vacuum created inside the appliance?
- Fan blades turned by a motor create a suction (partial vacuum' inside the machine which sucks up the dirt. It's similar to you drinking a liquid with a straw. You stick one end of the straw into the liquid and suck on the other end. You create a vacuum inside the straw and it sucks up the liquid to fill the empty space (vacuum).
- Q:I just bought a Kirby Sentria and was wondering if I had been taken. Price was $2100 and I got it for $1395 with two old vaccums. Guess I was concerned, other than the price, that there is virtually no ratings on other sites about how good a Kirby is against other vacuums.
- We cleaned display homes for years and just used plain old Eureka vacs at $59.00 a whack. We tested a Kirby and found it didn*t do any better than the Eurekas My friend had one and said she wished she had never bought it because it was so heavy to push around and it took so long to change a belt, she had to always phone her son to come and change it for her. She said for what she paid she was sorry she ever bought it; You don*t always get what you pay for.
- Q:i have a canister vacuum cleaner that has been working on and off. When it works, it works well, but sometimes when you try to turn it on it won't. But then when you try again later, it works. And it hasn't worked when it wasn't even used shortly before so it can't be overheated. The vacuum is at least a decade old. I'm suspecting that the motor i nearing the end of its life..but my dad refuses acknowledge the possibility of that and citing that it just needs to be cleaned. I know when the vacuum needs to be cleaned considering that I'm like the only one who uses it!
- we had one about 12 years ago. It lasted us 12 years. I only got ride of it because all the attachments were cracked and the poor thing just looked pathetic. We have since then gone through a vac every 4 to 6 years before it needed major fixes at the shop.
- Q:i tend to want a cannister because it easier to get underneath beds, tables, sofa......gimme brands and models if you can,,,XOXOXO
- i personally use this one the dirt devil envision it isnt a canister system however it has an extension wand and some nifty attachments which help cleaning in corners and behind furniture and such and the power brush attachment is awesome for troublesome areas also its bagless so if you vaccuum up something u didnt mean to then its easy to get out :) here is a pic of it......
- Q:I am planning to start working for Rainbow vacuum. Any warning that I should know about? Any helpful hints? Anything?
- The vacuum cleaners are hard enough to sell in a normal economy. In a lousy economy like what we have now, the job is vene more difficult. Folks don't buy a $1300 vacuum just because. They have to be fully convinced it is worth the money. It is very heavy, especially with the water in it, and you should not try to dismiss objections about carrying it up down stairs - that is really not recommended, and not to be advised because of the risk of injury. They either empty the unit of water, and refill on the second floor, or they buy a second system for the second floor - and you can double your sales! If you every find such a customer, give them a good discount on the second system, OK? Good Luck; but in case things are slow, I suggest you have another part time job ready.
- Q:what is the best brand of vacuum cleaner? I'm about to buy one!?
- Kenmore has some really good vacs for the money, consumers reports rated them really high. look for 12 amps with easy hose disconnects and attachments for edging and cob web plus you may be doing the car also.
- Q:Should I spend a lot and expect it to last for years, or should I spend a little and expect to replace it next year. What brand and model should I buy. Please help!
- (copied okorder and on Epinions. Below is the link to the vacuum at Wal-Mart and the review on Epinions. Happy Vacuuming!
- Q:I'm really confused i have a dry vaccum cleaner there is filters inside to protect the dirt entering in to the motor , so i'm thinking of a wet so how this work when water enters the motor does it damage? or it is working like a water pump? if so how the suction all work ?
