- Q:i'd like to heat press som letters onto the back of my under armour. is this possible? if yea, are there any special precations to take take? will any store that heatpresses letters do it? thanks for the help
- Under Armour, Dri-Fit and other performance fabrics can be heat pressed, but they are not the same as a nylon or polyester jersey, and that is important to know when you put lettering on. Because Under Armour is made to stretch, you want lettering that can stretch with your shirt without peeling off, cracking or wrinkling. If you take your shirt to a shop for heat pressing, you'll want them to promise you that the material they're using is made for performance fabrics. Ask them if they have a sample you can touch and stretch for yourself. One heat-press material made for performance fabric is STAHLS' SuperFILM. Right now, it comes on a roll, not pre-cut lettering. But, if the shop has a vinyl cutter, they should be able to cut SuperFILM and do your name or design easily. Good luck!
- Q:So i just got a French press and are a little unsure of how to use it properly. The directions and other websites have said to only use coarsely ground coffee in the press ( the directions said it would clog the filter and other how-to sites said it would go through the filter). My question is then this: is pre ground coffee (ex. fresh market Christmas blend) from the store not a good idea to put in the French press? I do not have a coffee grinder and am not planning on buying one.
- You can, I've done this several times, however since the grind is finer, it makes for very strong coffee (which I like). I would recommend using a coffee filter to pour it into your cup though, unless you don't mind, for lack of a better word, gritty coffee.

- What do you mean by 'small?' What's the name of the company? Because there's the type of small that's totally unknown, like...God knows...and then there's the small that's extremely prestigious, like Farrar Straus Giroux...

- Try okorder / I used Cafe Press for T-shirts for 3 years. In August they had a hefty price increase for t-shirts printed on the front and back. I switched to Zazzle since then. They can print up to 14 inches wide artwork on t-shirts. Cafe Press only does 10 inches wide. Zazzle gives you 10% off if you submit your designs to the market place and another 10% off if you order 12 shirts at a time. I like Zazzle much better than Cafe Press.

- Q:I'm a 17 year old girl, I weigh about 160 lbs (5'10''), as of 3 years ago I was leg pressing 250 lbs. But since then I have had ACL surgery (hamstring graft), I now only press 160 lbs. I am an athlete, I do MMA and I am a competitive black belt in Tae Kwon Do. How much should I ideally be pressing?
- Not considering your injury as a fighter you shouldn't be trying to go too high and get muscle bound legs. If you can press 700 you might have a tree-trunk of a leg and it will be rooted to the floor like one. You want fast twitch in the smaller muscles to be able to have control over your legs for both kicking and supporting yourself. I don't think leg press is the best option either. It isolates the quads for aesthetic purposes. You'll look nice but you won't have the full cascade of muscles to have a great kick and you can end up imbalanced real quick too. You want to find more integrative movements that let you use you whole body or at least your whole leg cascade. As for the surgery, I can't speak much about it but I'd say listen to your doctor. If he says balls to the wall, go for it. But if he says you need to work in slowly or never go over a certain weight, listen to him. You might be able to kick the hell out of everyone but you're still a weak little child if you can't trust someone or take the advice of someone who inherently knows better.

- i don't think so because to build muscle mass you need to do a weight that you can do only 4-5 reps of. I am 17, 9stone and bench press 100kg to build muscle and 70kg to build endurance. Try to chose a weight that you can only do a few reps in strict form. Do about 3-4 sets of these. To build chest muscle you can also try pec fly.
- Q:Okay so I want to get a new foundation, I don't want a liquid foundation because I am afraid it will look to fake looking lol. Anyway I have combination skin, and I want a pressed powder foundation that has coverage, stays on long, and looks natural. - Concealer: Prescriptives Flawless Skin which is available at their website again. It covers everything from under eye circles to huge blemishes, birthmarks, scarring, redness etc without creasing. it's oil free, long lasting and suits all skintypes especially sensitive. Pressed powder foundation: Youngblood Minerals pressed mineral foundation. It's matte and controls oil pretty well on it's own. Has light to full buildable coverage that looks/feels very natural, never flakey or cakey, never streaky, never broken me out. I set it with either jurlique rose/citrus or youngblood minerals rice mineral pressed powder, coverfx oil absorbing matte fx , origins silk screen, tarte micronized finishing powder etc depending what I have around atm. I also use Boscia Oil Free Daily Hydration spf15 + Skindinavia No More Shine to ensure that I remain matte all day no matter how hot/humid. This works but isn't overdrying.
