Q:i want to have fun with my eclipse, kind of chop it and lift it. I want to lift it about 2 to 3 inches but i am not sure how. Is there a vehicle that has the same bolt patters in the struts as my eclipse or do i need to go have something custom made?
SIMPLE - jet aircraft engines are designed from the outset to operate more efficiently in thinner air. Fact - a jet engine that is not throttled back as the aircraft acheives higher altitudes will overpower and damage itself or the aircraft. This was discovered by accident with the early jet engines. The higher the aircraft went at a fixed throttle setting, the more power it produced and the pilots had to throttle back to avoid exceeding their aircrafts design limits. A few test aircraft were actually damaged during these tests when the throttles were deliberately left in their climb/power position.
Q:I went over a speed bump yesterday and it hit the bottom of my car. Something is hanging off of it now (behind the right front tire) and when I was driving it, it‘d be hitting the tire making a grinding noise. It‘s a flat metal square, like the cover to something. I have to take it to the mechanic but can‘t drive it fast or that thing might break even worse but I can tape it so it‘s not hanging by the tire. I have a 2001 bmw 540i.
The flat metal square is probably part of the suspension system in the car. I wouldn't worry too much about it. the square isn't a mechanical part and it probably isn't part of a mechanical part that moves or rotates or pumps. Heat is created by friction and compression for the most part in internal combustion engines. Anywhere else other than the transmission, tires (rubbing on the ground), brakes, or drive shaft should not heat up significantly. Go ahead and tape it.
Q:Recently the telescopic suspension are using at front and spring damper system at rear suspension of two Wheeler. So why spring damper system is not used?????
The spring and damper is contained within the telescopic fork.

the suspension system ??? What is that? What are you asking? Replace something? Shocks? Bushings, links, tie rods? NEED MORE INFO!!!!
Q:Did all the hatchback Citroen C5‘s from 2001-2004 have Hydro-pneumatic suspension? If not then do you know which ones did? was there a specific variant or was it just a general option?
Short answer is YES. There were variants of the system which were fitted to different trim levels. The basic models would be fitted with Hydractive 3 suspension whereas the exclusive models (high trim level) were fitted with Hydractive 3+. However, the Peugeot 607 is just a C5 under the skin. It has the same computers, engines, electrics etc but it was fitted with conventional coil spring and shock absorber suspension. I personally prefer the C5's Hydractive suspension as it is far superior at providing a comfortable and smooth ride (watch Top Gear testing the C6 suspension as its the same system) but maybe my preference comes knowing how to fix the system if something goes wrong. I can understand that some people are understandably wary of such a complicated suspension setup.

go in this order n u will have a good looking car 1. tints i personally like 5% tint but mosy people think its too dark 2. lower your car, invest in a good suspension system dont go for cheap springs u will regret it. ANY car will look better if you lower it plus you'll get better handling 3. sound system 4. HIDs if u dont have them 5. rims from here you go whichever way u want engine wise intake headers catback anything else u want to add then you would be going past midly tunning it

Yeah. it already is a oil but you should never use it in place of engine oil not only does it have a weak antiwear additive pack, it has hardly any detergents and is a light oil to boot. a tiny bit won't hurt alot, or in place of engine oil. your asking for a new engine? Just keep a couple quarts in the back. for top ups if needed. not trans fluid.
Q:I have a 2005 silverado with a 6 inch fabtech lift and it used the torsion bars. i would like to go to a long travel suspension but i dont think i can without getting a whole new front end basically. upper and lower control arms, steering knuckles. the whole bit. is there any way i could turn my lift into a long travel kit or no it is not possible.
nope! correct. in a nut shell, torsion bars, a-frames, and IFS systems will never allow for long travel suspension. need to convert to SAS and coil overs for that. not familiar with you truck to advise you on that. how easy it is to do that depends on if chevy made an SAS system on this platform or not. either domestically or for export. that could mean the diff between loosing you truck for one w/SAS or modding to the existing structure. depends on how good of a fabricator you are. owner 93 toy pu 4x4 3lift IFS, 88 toy pu 6lift SAS, 56 willys pu 4x4 oem.

Yes there is a leak or leaks. Otherwise you wouldn't be putting in fluid. Find the leaks and fix them.
