Q:My nine month old is petite - 15 lbs 8 oz and 26.75 inches. She has now started eating finger foods and loves it. My mom bought us a high chair, but she can't even see over the tray! We have been using one of those bumpo chairs (which we loved!) but now she can reach the ground and will push herself backwards and try to tip over! Any suggestions for high chairs for petite babies?Thanks!

wow she is small.. my son is 12ibs 10oz and 24 inches long and he is only 2 months old.. I would say just get one of those high chairs u put on a regular chair.. They have straps and u just make sure its sucure to the chair.

Q:Lots of people are decorating chairs with stuff but I want to do something more creative, some people are also taking pictures with their chairs and stuff. You can do ANYTHING as long as it includes chair. Doesnt matter what kind of chair, just a chair. Ideas?

thinking of chairs, i see black and white. some ideas come to mind....like a photo of a black metal chair with a red pillow on top, sitting on a black and white checker board floor. also a unique idea would be if you stacked wooden chairs and took a black a white photo of that, maybe by a window so that there is a pillar of light seeping through on one area of the chairs. haha sorry if that doesn't make sense. i'm an artist, so i can see things in my head but i don't exactly know how to explain them lol :)

Q:I would like to get my boyfriend a nice chair for Christmas to watch his football games and play his video games in. I have a budget of a $1000 but if I can of course I'd like to spend less. I'm going to go to look at some La-Z Bots tomorrow but any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Also, is that even a good idea to get him a man chair for Christmas?

Yes, I think a chair is a pretty nice thought. Lay-Z-Boys are the best chairs... I would though, if he already has chair measure the depth of the seat. My sister got a love seat and your feet dangle because the seat is soooo deep... and it isn't very comfortable... So I'd measure that.. And also measure the width, because if there are any large people you don't want a chair that is only 30 inches wide, they won't fit in it... Probably look for around 35 inches wide. The depth you'll have to determine on your own, but ask the sales person if they recommend an average depth size... Happy shopping!! :-) and Merry Christmas...

Q:I bought a new office chair for my linoleum floored office and every time I sit down, the chair moves about 3 to 4 feet back from my keyboard. Is there anyway to tighten the casters? I think a chair mat would do the same thing.

you will need a chair caster with brake, so you can lock the wheel.

Pretty awesome until you spin around too much and vomit all over the place. I usually push myself off walls and roll around the room.

Q:we have these leather chairs in my kitchen and my cat always jumps on the back of this one to get on top of our water cooler cause she likes it up there or whateveranyone know what i could do to like make her stop, cause i have a pillow case over it right now, but that defeats the purpose of having a nice leather chair

There are all sorts of aids available to help train a cat to NOT be someplace. Please look at the links below... one is a double-side sticky tape that you can tape to the chair. Cats hate the stickiness, and will avoid it. When the cat learns to stay off of it, you can remove the tape (it's clear, so it won't look too ugly while you are using it). Another device is a mat of small plastic spikes (they're not SHARP!!! so they won't harm her). There are scat sprays available, which I don't think are very effective. Do you have a cat tree of any sort? Cats WANT to be HIGH, and the back of the chair is a HIGH place. If you can place a cat tree in the area that is even HIGHER, she will naturally go to that instead. If she is SCRATCHING your leather chair, then you need to provide substitute scratching posts and things. If you place one or two scratching posts or other scratching surfaces, she will gravitate to scratching THOSE instead. I know it works! Me… kittyslave23… I know my place.
