That's a kool old rolling chair . . probably used for someone who worked at a table most of the time, or like a doctor's or dentist chair . .that the doctor sat in as it swiveled and reclined as well and rolled. . . .in any event . . unless you come up with an answer as to exactly what it's use was . . I'd say $150 for any old utility piece of furniture in nice condition. You could probably do better if you were to sell it as a modern or industrialist piece. Have you looked around underneath for any labels or markings?

nope -when your baby is starting on solid foods at age 6 mos, invest in a booster seat. it will take up less room in the home has more practical applications. by the time your child is 3-4, he/she can use it for all activities at the dinner table.

Try and rip them off. Or turning the chairs upside down and undoing the bolts. Then you can use the old fabric as a pattern to reupholster the chairs, and you can even spray paint it with krylon or rustoleum spray paint! Hope that helps!

Q:Just purchased 10 ladder back country chairs from a not so clean house. The chairs have a straw design I guess for the seat? The design comes in on all four sides. The straw looks like rope to me just very old and dirty. The chairs are old but could be beautiful again. They are in excellent condition from what I can see, just dirty and smoked up. Can someone that knows about old furniture please help me. I do not want to mess these chairs up by doing something I shouldn't. I planned on putting murphy's oil soap in very warm water and give them a good cleaning. What would you perfer I use. I've been looking for these chairs for along time. Yes if they can use hand controls. If their disability prevents them from using hand controls then no. Also not all wheelchair users are unable to walk, some just need the wheelchairs to go distances (like walking around a mall or larger store). I'm a wheelchair user (not wheelchair bound) and I will be able to drive with the use of hand controls. Since I can't move my feet at all and wear leg braces it would be too difficult to press the pedals on the floor.
