After a week of him sleeping in his bed then move it to the floor make sure you put him there when you go to bed, but after a while he will understand that is his bed. ** Just for who answered before me, cats can be trained. My sister's cats can sit, stand, lay down and even beg when comanded. My cat's have been trained to not get on cabinets, they also walk on leashes. Yes they are stubborn and like to do their own, but I can guarentee you they can be trained, it just takes a little longer. So whoever said they can't be trained is wrong.

I turned my bed into a day bed and I love it, it makes the room a lot better but invest in a really good one. Be prepared to spend over 200$ and make sure you get a really comfy matteress. Also some day beds are bigger then others so makesure you get a bigger one. I am so glad I got a day bed. xx
