Q:Wet carpet?
if you have access to a shop vacuum use it to suck out as much of the moisture as possible KO, here,s what else you can do. wipe the area with a big towel try to pick up as much water /moisture as you can , if you have a space heater place it by the wet area and leave it till rug is dry. no space heater? then place a fan aim it at the wet spot same thing leave it till dry, also i know you must have a hair dryer.you can use it the same way you would if drying your hair you can also rent a commercial fan for drying out wet areas at any rental store ..good luck please don't try to use your vacuum cleaner the water will wipe out the motor.
Q:How to buy a carpet
Of the two kinds, the sofa will have to drag on, a great carpet merchant. Finally is the material selection, this is not right; second is the size, and the rest is the overall style of the housing decoration to determine the style and color of the carpet.
Q:carpet protection / covers?
Ha okorder.com/ Rage on! :)
Q:Where can I find Great, Contemporary Area Rugs at Good Prices? Websites are fine?
ikea is HORRIBLE for rugs. Ignore the first person. Go anywhere that is NOT a department store or large outlet geared towards the masses. I had a couple of outstanding purchases from our local rug store. Internet shopping was very difficult, although we did get some excellent finds on OKorder althought took 1 rug burn to know what to look for when purchasing online.
Q:Is it possible to convert a pre-installed home carpet to an area rug?
yes you can cut it to size and bind the sides
Q:Should I get Rugs or Carpet?
Carpets okorder.com/
Q:carpet with heavy furniture on?
It goes away after awhile.
Q:what to do if there are foam pieces on the carpet?
Add two or three drops of essential balm or floral water, it can prevent mosquitoes in summer. sweep the carpet with a broom dipped in a mixture of water to remove the odors. Clean or hang out in the basin with 500 ml of water in it.
Q:Is landlord required to change carpet? New jersey.?
You have an option you have not exercised in the last 7 years that your lease has expired. You are able to give your cheap landlord the proper notice an move. Your landlord has not changed the carpet in the 8 years. Apparently there is no law in Jew Jersey that require a landlord to change the carpet. Apparently you are pleased with the rent your cheap landlord charge, therefore you have not exercised your option to move. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. FIGHT ON
Q:Can I replace carpet pad without replacing the carpet?
Yes, you can replace the padding only. I do it all the time. Especially when I have a flooded house or apartment. There are a few thing to remember though; Is the carpet to old or worn out to be restretched? Is the webbing intact, or is it crumbling and disintegrating? Take care when pulling up the carpet. The carpet is stretched over the nails in the tack strips which are angled to grasp and hold the carpet webbing (the mesh that holds the carpet together). If you yank the carpet towards you, it might tear the webbing. The best thing would be to release the tension by restretching with a carpet stretcher and pulling it up then. You're going to need a stretcher anyways to put it back in right? You can rent them fairly cheap at an equipment rental outlet. You can also rent the seaming kits for which to join two pieces of carpet together which you might need if you have to separate any pieces to remove a section. Seams are usually in doorways and such. If you do remove a piece, put it back in the same direction it came out. Don't turn it. Good luck then.
