Pictures of Acrylic Carpets and Rugs

Q:When my carpets are cleaned at first, they are perfectly clean and I have a friend who owns a carpet company who doesn't just steam clean the carpets. After a few months, the same stains seem to re-emerge from where they were before as if they were cleaned on the surface but re-surfaced.I have 2 cats where I have cleaned hairballs, and a lot of throwing up, and I think that's what the stains are from. I use the MIracle stuff for cat stains/odors and it seems to work at first, but again they come up especially in the hallway upstairs. The rest of my my carpets are not bad, even after a year. I take good care of them and keep them as clean as possible but these round stains in various places make it look really bad! How can I make them go away permanently. I'm tired of hiring expensive carpet cleaners where they look great for a month or so; then these same spots seem to come back plus additional hairballs which I try to catch as soon as I can.Thanks.
I think everyone should invest in a Bissell carpet steamer. They're no more expensive than a vacuum cleaner, and they sure do come in handy for cleaning tough stains in carpets. There's a special Pet Formula detergent they sell (I think Walmart sells it in a generic formula, too), that does a great job of getting up cat stains. It's a lifesaver for me.
Q:I've recently noticed rugs popping up on my yards in the evenings, it goes down to around 4oC here at night right now, and all horses are in their own fields, not in a herd. I personally am not too sure on rugging yet. My mare is a 16.2, 10 year old Irish Sports Horse, and I simply refuse to clip her for my own reasons. She has been rugged for most of her life with her old owner, and obviously it's unfair of me to deny her rugging now, so no rug is not an option.I was just wondering how cold it has to get before you start rugging. I myself will rug in horrible rain, and at 1oC or below, but should I be doing it at higher temps? I don't want to ruin the growth of her winter coat, and she gets hay and a feed every night.
While I agree with the other answers it should also be considered that horses in the wild are herd animals and therefore do group together either by sticking their rumps together to keep warm or sometimes horses stick their muzzles together and breathe on each other to keep breathing warm air. I would suggest the horses ears and behind them. Are they cold? If they are cold I would suggest blanketing/rugging them especially if the horses are going to be alone in separate fields. There are several types of blankets/rugs. Some are thicker and some are thinner. Lightweight blankets are for temperatures that do not go down past 40 degrees. Medium weights are for temperatures that do not go much past below freezing and heavy blankets are for the days when it is freezing. You can decided between the lightweight or the medium weight.
Q:I want to do carpet business. Now what kind of carpet do you sell well?
There are people who like the traditional point of view, such consumers mainly like patterns, traditions, patterns, those more carpets, many of these consumers are elderly people. There are about two kinds of carpets: 1. the woven carpets made by the manufacturers over there in Shandong, and the ones with a bright pattern. 2., the production of wool, handmade rubber back carpet, like 80 step wool, 120 step wool carpet and so on.It's also strongly recommended that you open a children's carpet area in the store. Now the parents are special love for their children, with children and children of carpet carpet, now the domestic share is quite large, there are many patterns are very cute, very beautiful, parents will be happy to pay.
Q:we have NO PETS but every time I vacuum, it fills up with CARPET! I will do one spot over and over again and it will still fill up with CARPET!!! (lol)Why is this?!?!We have the top-of-the-line quot;plushquot; carpet if that helps any.

Q:how do remove pizza stains from the carpet
Blot the excess. This is the overarching rule of carpet-stain cleaning. Don't soak or wipe it, otherwise you're stuck with the stain for life... Know your stain. Figure out what kind of stain you have on your hands. Unlike clothing, carpet stains can often be difficult to discern after a few moments... Brush clean and vacuum once the stain is dry. The flat brush should pick up and dried particles that are lingering, and the vacuum will do the rest.
Q:My walls are painted light gray, I am looking to replace my carpet. Which color matches well with light gray. I had a light blue carpet. Should i get the same color
I would go with a gray or a beige, depending on the color of what's going in the room, but both are neutral colors and work with most other colors. You could always go dramatic and carpet it in black.
Q:For the past 6 months or so, my cat has been peeing and pooping on my throw rug (which, just so you know, was an expensive rug from Crate Barrel which I love). My rug is stained from cat pee, and I just had it cleaned deodorized this past weekend in the hopes that she would stop using it as a litter box. I used to think that she did it out of spite, but I can't figure out why she'd be mad at me or my live-in boyfriend (who she belongs to, but we've been living together for about a year and dating for a year and a half, so she knows me well and is very loving towards me). I don't know how to get her to stop using my rug as a toilet. Any suggestions? And, putting her to sleep is not a suggestion. We love her. But, if she doesn't stop pooping and peeing on my rug I don't know what II'll do!
keep the litter box clean clean it all the time everyday if nessecary next clean that rug like there is no tomorrow scrub and scrub and scrub do not put it back out yet get the cat fixed and petsmart sells something called cataway use it your in a tough situation that is very hard to break just keep that cat pan clean then put the carpet back after a couple days i had this problem with a cat and i loved the cat but my house was kicking he had to go but dont give up and remember keep the pan clean
Q:So I have this cheap $20 rug from walmart thats teal. I did away with it for a while but now that I want my room redone, I want a black rug to go in front of a futon. How would I go about dyeing this rug instead of buying a new one and leaving this one to collect dust? It has a plastic wired bottom to hold the rug together and to act slip resistant. Would dyeing it affect it?
Whether dyeing would work depends on what fibre it's made of. If it's wool or cotton, it would dye quite well with ordinary dyes, though it might present a few difficulties since dyes usually call for being heated, and a lot of rinsing after. If it's a synthetic fibre, which it very likely is, it might not dye at all because synthetics don't absorb dye very well, if at all. If they do, they usually require processes that would be very difficult to achieve with a rug, such as heating the dye bath with the item in it. All in all, it's probably not worth even trying. Find a cheap black rug to buy.
Q:My dog has now peed on the entire futon. If I rent a a rug doctor (from local grocery store) will it work on a futon? The futon is only about 4inches thick. I'm wondering if the rug doctor will be able to suck up the water it jets out, or if it will just make the futon wet?
Having used a Rug Doctor many times, I seriously doubt that it would do any good in your situation. Yes, it does have good suction power for carpets, but even then, it requires time for the underlayment (usually foam padding) to dry, also. I wish I had a good answer for you. The responder that suggested you get the attachments, may be the best answer, just trying to suck the water out may be all you can do. Good luck...
Q:Is that wierd? should i do a square rug and fill in more of the room instead?
Yes, you can do the roung rug, no problem. Do keep in mind that the rug must be big enough to do this comfortably. To determine what size of rug should you should place under a dining room table, measure the top of your table and add between 24 and 30 inches all around. This allows space for a person to get in and out of the chair and to move closer to the table or move back from the table and all the while the back legs of the chair are able to remain on the rug. It’s really a hassle if the dining room rug is not large enough and the back legs of a chair keep going over the edge of the rug. You might want to have people sit in the chairs and move back from the table as they normally would and then measure that distance to be sure what size of rug you should have for the dining room. Other furniture in the dining area, such as a china cabinet or serving table, should not be on the rug, only the dining table and chairs. Hope this helps...
