Yes, I think a chair is a pretty nice thought. Lay-Z-Boys are the best chairs... I would though, if he already has chair measure the depth of the seat. My sister got a love seat and your feet dangle because the seat is soooo deep... and it isn't very comfortable... So I'd measure that.. And also measure the width, because if there are any large people you don't want a chair that is only 30 inches wide, they won't fit in it... Probably look for around 35 inches wide. The depth you'll have to determine on your own, but ask the sales person if they recommend an average depth size... Happy shopping!! :-) and Merry Christmas...

Q:Normally she was eating in her high chair. But recently I had a C-section and they said no lifting and she is 28 pounds. also, I think she is growing out of her high chair because she tries to stand up in it and rocks it and she can tip over. So, what do I do? Do I get her a booster seat? Does it have buckles? What do you recommend? Today I tried to feed her on the couch but it can be messy and she was running around with food in her hands.P.s. I have to hold my newborn often, so I have only 1 free hand if any.

Returning chairs to their proper place after using them is very classy and highly recommended--even if you've been eating alone, as you mentioned (unless, of course, there's an available spot where you've now moved the chair). Great reasons why: 1) Leaving your mess for other people to pick up is rude--dishes are one thing, but rearranging the furniture is annoying for servers and cleaning staff. 2) Chairs that are in the way (not pushed under the table, in the walkway, etc.) are a hazard! Should I just seat my girlfriend, or should I also seat her younger sister?And would it be considered improper for me to help her mother as well?P.S. This is for large, out of house, and family dinners.Thank you

i think just ur g/f - if her younger sister is sitting close, then maybe her too (use ur instincts) - especially if she's really young as for her mom - i think that's for her husband to do.. i think it depends on what ur relationship is like with her mom and younger sister. if she's older and needs help - then help her hopefully by the time you've seated ur girlfriend - her mom and sister would have seated themselves, and u won't have to worry about it i'm sure u already know this, but just in case.. - don't start to eat until everyone else starts - if a woman excuses herself - stand up with her (it's really old fashioned and risky, but it could make a lasting impression)

Q:I bought this chair but it's hard for me to push the wheels in. Any tips??

Just put a small block of wood on the caster and tap it with a hammer. It will drive the shank of the caster into the hole and it will set itself. You are done. You don't want to hit the plastic wheel directly with a metal hammer because it could just snap off. Consumer ALERT!! You could just buy this type of chair at a 2nd hand store, spend $5.00 on a caster,and have a $199 chair in your house. People are so stupid.
