Manufacturing  Facility

Equipped with advanced technological  facilities on melting, casting, forging, heat treating and mechanical machining,  our factory has formed 9 professional complete roll manufacturing lines of cast  steel, cast iron and forged steel rolls such as strip mill rolls, heavy section  mill rolls, wire & bar rolls, special shaped rolls and small-sized cold  rolls and specialized production lines of bloom and slab CCM, coke oven  equipments and wind power products. Annual production capacity of mill rolls is  180,000 tons, metallurgical equipment is 80,000 tons.

 

Main Plants  Capacity

is the core of our company and  undertakes all of scientific research work. The company specially produces and  supplies all kinds of roll used for hot strip mill, cold strip mill, plate &  heavy plate mill, large-sized section mill, universal mill etc. The annual  production capacity of cold roll is 30,000 tons, hot roll and back-up roll is  100,000 tons.

(1) Our Small Cold Roll factory  specially produces and supplies cold forged steel work rolls, intermediate rolls  and back-up rolls with unit weight below 4 tons, barrel diameter below or equal  to 600mm. Rolls are mainly used in single (tandem) stand cold mills, temper  mills, straighteners with strip width below or equal 1500; electric steel and  stainless steel multi-roll cold rolling mills; non-ferrous mills such as copper  strip and foil mills, aluminum strip and foil mills. The annual production  capacity is 9,000 tons.

(2) Our Wirl & Bar Mill Roll  factory specially produces and supplies work rolls and back-up roll for bar  mill, wire mill, small/mediate-sized section mill, narrow and medium-wide strip  mill. The annual production capacity is 26,000 tons.

(3) Our Special Roll factory  specially produces and supplies rolls and roll rings for seamless tube mills,  roll rings and shaft for H-beam and universal  structural mills, rolls for  large-sized high frequency straight welding mills (diameter over 508) etc. The  annual capacity is 15,000 tons.

(4) Our Equipment Manufacturing  factory specially produces and supplies all types of bloom, slab, special  section blank for continuous casting machine, coke oven armature, complete sets of coke dry quenching equipment, heat treatment equipment for steel plate  surface, cold rolling decoiler, wind power spare parts etc. The annual  production capacity is 80,000 tons. 


Technical  Supports

The factories of CNBM invested  2.3 billion RMB for large-scale technical innovation during the “Eleventh Five  -Year Plan”. Our company has completed equipment and technology upgrade  transformation at the end of 2008, which was concentrated on three projects,  production line of centrifugal casting rolls for hot strip and plate mill,  forged roll for cold/hot strip mill, national class technology center and roll  material lab. Through upgrade transformation, the following targets have been  achieved:
