Q:Anyone knows if HEPA robot vacuums work for asthmatic people?
i don't knw about it but give you suggestion to search in website
Q:What makes vacuum cleaners work?
Uh... Um... Electricity? I don't know what exactly you're trying to find out. Is it how they create suction exactly? Cause that I know. U see, the propeller isn't like a normal airplane propeller. It's a bit different. It's actually a disc, which has some blades on it, mounted radially, but slightly bent to the exterior of the disc. When it turns, it blows air away on the outside of the disc, and creates a low pressure point in the inside, which creates the suction (air flows from higher pressured areas to the lower pressured ones - think about winds the weather) The propeller is actually part of an entire system, which is connected to the motor and is designed to create as much suction as possible by its shape.
Q:When did the following items become common in American homes?
This isn't a History question. It's a homework question. All you have to do is look up each on Wikipedia and check the dates ... its just time consuming. I'll help you out with the first one because it's a little convoluted. Washing Machines invented in 1691. Available in Europe by the 1750's. Available in the US by 1843. NON-ELECTRIC washing machines were fairly common 1870's to 1900 Electric washing machines were available 1904. US electric washing machine became common in households by 1928.
Q:Were Hoover vacuum cleaners ever sold door to door?
yes, and my grandma had a salesman come and tried to sell her one, he kept insisting , so she let him do his thing, he put dirt on the floor, while giving his speech, telling how great it did, then he asked where he could plug it in at ? she told him they didn't have electricity, .she made him clean it up, shot his sale lol and no we didn,t have electricity back then,
Q:s there a place that will let you rent vacuum cleaners for like a few hours or a day?
you can rent a shop vac from places like Home Depot
Q:I am jinxed every vacumn cleaner i owns always blows up grrrr why?
It's not you personally it is the brands you are purchasing, especially Hoover this brand is very cheaply made, try purchasing a different brand try maybe Panasonic upright, I have had this brand of vacuum for about ten years now and have had wonderful service out of it and it has been the most powerful easy light vacuum I have ever owned and longest lasting by far, and the best feature of all is it's maneuverability My mother has had Hoovers and she has had the worst luck with them too so you see it is not you and you are not jinxed Good Luck !
Q:Vacuum Cleaners what brand do you use?
I want a Dyson, but I have a Hoover Windtunnel.
Q:If you came to my house selling vacuum cleaners, and I answered the door wearing nothing but a smile...?
it,s would,s faze me too much i had it, happen. i work for the phone co went to the job knock on the door announce who i was the lady open the door point to a table and said put it there..so i did when she came back ,like nothing happen.got the phone working and left
Q:Why am I sexually attracted to vacuum cleaners?
They say it beats as it sweeps as it cleans perhaps that is what turns you on
Q:Vacuum cleaners under $100?
Purchase a rebuilt or reconditioned vacuum from a Vacuum Cleaner Sales Store. You can probably pick up a $600.00 machine, rebuilt, for under $100.00. This would be a much better machine than any new machine that sells in that price range. you can also find, new, a Sharp machine for prox., $200.00.
