Q:why is plastic apparatus sterilized?
The rising use of plastics in medical devices means that their sterilization capability becomes the key selection criteria for use in medical devices. The paper details the various sterilization methods for medical devices, and also lists the AAMI and ISO standards for sterilization. Importance of considering the possible sterilization methods at early stage of product design is highlighted, stating the fact that various plastics respond differently to particular sterilization methods. General sterilization performance of a range of plastics is listed in the form of a table.
Q:A large number of polyethylene particles, good color
Low density, strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance are better than those of LDPE. They can be used at about 100 degrees. With good electrical properties and high frequency insulation, not affected by humidity, but brittle at low temperature, not resistant to aging easily. In daily life, a lot of things cannot do without plastic, introduce the types and uses of plastics containing 10 bottles of 750 mL of fiber in a ski jacket enough in filling; daily life, renewable particles can be used to manufacture all kinds of plastic bags, cans, pots, toys, furniture, stationery other living utensils and all kinds of plastic products. In the clothing industry, it can be used to make clothes, ties, buttons, zippers. Building materials can be used to make all kinds of building blocks, building tools, plastic doors and windows, mortar barrels. In agriculture, the system can be used for plastic, pump tube, farm machinery, fertilizer bags, cement packaging bags. In the mechanical industry, recycled particles can be used to make machine parts and components, bearings, gears, cams, wheels, seals, blades, pumps and impellers. In the chemical industry, it can be used as reaction kettle, pipe, container, pump, valve and so on. It is used in the chemical production site to solve the corrosive wear. In addition, recycled particles are also widely used in the electrical and telecommunications industries.
Q:Thermo softening plastics? best answer 10 points?
Thermo softening plastics (Heat melt injection plastics) Polyethylene (milk jug plastic) Polystyrene (transparent, brittle plastic) Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) ABS plastics (computer cases and many colored plastics) Teflon AKA, poly vinyl fluoride (non-stick coating, resists nearly all chemicals) Thermo setting plastics (2 part liquid resins; once mixed they harden permenantly) 5 minute epoxy Super glue, AKA cyanoacrylate resin (1 part resin that hardens with CO2 and H2O) Bakelite (phenol formaldehyde - the original plastic) Nylon (replaced Japaneese parachute silk during WWII) Polyesters (non-wrinkle fabrics)
Q:Questions about plastic?
What do you mean where it is made? Edit: If you wanted to know what does it mean I can help(though google also found the answer): HDPE stands for High Density Poly Ethylene, so that particular bottle/cap is made of that, you will also find these marked either by numbers, abbreviations or both: 1 - PET = Poly Ethylene Terephthalate 2 - HDPE = see above 3 - V = Poly Vinyl Chloride or PVC 4 - LDPE = Low Density Poly Ethylene 5 - PP = Poly Propylene 6 - PS = Poly Styrene 7- ... = Other Also, it is common that a plastic bottle and it's cap is not made of the same material which is a problem if you want to recycle(it is not recommended to mix various plastic types for recycling).
Q:eddie bauer plastic bottles & BPA?
PC = polycarbonate.........BPA = Bisphenol A #7 plastic is made of OTHER (whatever compounds that don't fit in with the other numbers). This category consists of three and five gallon water jugs, oven baking bags, corn based plastics, and PC (polycarbonate). PC (polycarbonate) can be found in some baby bottles and sports bottles. Polycarbonate plastics might leach bisphenol A into the liquids they contain. Bisphenol A is an artifical estrogen. As such, bisphenol A can disrupt hormone functions.
Q:types of plastic molding?
what nature of plastic? - there are hard and soft plastics, those that will be thermoplastic and those that will burn. Transparent and opaque. Rubbery and slick. stretchable and stiff brittle and flexible.
Q:I was just wondering, what you have done to use less plastics?
I have bought glass jars to put leftovers in instead of using Tupperware or Rubbermaid stuff. I also bought glass jars to store my rice, flour, sugar, pastas and other foods in. I try to buy products that are not in plastic to begin with. I can get jelly in glass jars, but not peanut butter, darn it. I will also wash these glass jars and use for food storage. I don't buy meat in plastic containers anymore. I am buying milk in cardboard packages now too. I got rid of our plastic cups and glasses and only use glass glasses. I don't use plastic plates either. I found an initial cost going and buying glass items, but once you have them they will last a lot longer than plastic and I think it is much healthier for us. Good luck with your venture. The less plastic in this world the better.
Q:Plastic Surgeons Where do I find?
i had an abscess in my armpit my relatives physician referred me to an incredible dermatologist. She used a close by anesthetic, and that i've got no longer any scarring. Oh my abscess become with regard to the size of a small lemon-after it healed I had some discoloration-it gave the impact of a bruise-besides the shown fact that it went away good away. Ask your record for a referral. A dermatologist could additionally permit you know in case you're in risk for abscesses on different aspects of your physique.
Q:can you make an aquarium using plastic ?
all large tanks are made of acrylic, and the fish are fine. all tanks with curved surfaces are made of acrylic, too.
Q:Is it dangerous to boil plastics?
I dont think you are going to get the results you would like ... you are better off going to a hobby store and getting a product designed for what you are trying to do. Also ... yes ... it is dangerous. Plastics release many gases that are poison when burned
