Q:How do i solve squared brackets?
It means that everything inside the parentheses () gets squared (multiplied by itself). (7x+5)² (7x+5)(7x+5) Then you solve that by using FOIL (First Outer Inner Last). (7x+5)(7x+5) 49x² + 35x +35x + 25 49x² +70x + 25
Q:clear brackets?
Actually, clear end up looking yellow. It's gross. Just get the metal, I did. They looked cute.
Q:What is a good bracket for a cutthroat billiards tournament?
The easiest way to figure out a bracket is to use a 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 player format. Say you had 6 players. You would use an 8-player bracket. This means you would have 2 byes. Draw out 8 lines on a sheet of paper. Write the word bye on the first line and the 8th line. Put the names of the players in a hat, on 6 pieces of paper. From top to bottom, from line 2 to line 7, draw a name and put it on line 2. Continue to do this until all 6 names are drawn. The first game, in the first round, is between the player on line 2 and the bye on line 1. Since the first game was a bye, advance the player on line 2 to the 2nd round. Next, the player on line 3 plays the player on line 4, with the winner advancing to play the player on line 2 who got a first round bye. Line 5 plays line 6, line 7 has the bye on line 8, so they automatically advance to the second round. In the second round, the line 1-2 winner plays the line 3-4 winner, the line 5-6 winner plays the line 7-8 winner. You should have 4 players left on 4 lines, for round 3. The first 2 players play each other and the bottom 2 play each other. After the third round is played, it's time for the final between the last 2 remaining players. Now say you have 12 players. You would use the 16-player format, you just have to put 2 byes at the top half of the bracket (lines 1 3), and 2 byes at the bottom half (lines 14 16). This will give you 1 more round than an 8-player format. If you end up with an odd number of players, just put 1 more bye on the top half of the bracket. If you have any problems just e-mail me. Good Luck!
Q:Tax brackets???
There is no cut-off salary. If you make more $$ you will take home more $$. When your tax bracket raises it's only on the additional dollars that you are taxed at the higher rates. I'm also in Quebec. At a salary of 55,000 your taxable amount is about 46,000 which means your taxes are about $11,153 in total Fed and Quebec excluding QPP, EI, and QPIP so you net before QPP,EI and QPIP is about 34,847. Lets say you get a new Salary of about 60,000 your taxable would be about 51,000 taxes would be 13,072 so your net is 37,928 before QPP, EI and QPIP. So do not worry. If you make more you will take more home. The only time getting raises is a problem like you are suggesting is a low salaries 30,000 due to GST rebates and other credits for low salary workers. At 55,000+ you already have lost all of these rebates.
Q:Calculating relative atomic mass with brackets?
The term in bracket means that the term in brackets occurs 7 times in this molecule or in other words CH2 occurs 7 times in this molecule. The atomic mass of carbon is 12g/mol , whilst that of hydrogen is 1g/mol. To calculate atomic mass is (12 + 3*1)+ 7*(12+2*1) + (12 + 3*1) 15 + 7*14 +15 30 +98 128g/mol
Q:Perfect Bracket??
Far smaller than 100,000 to 1. From a strict standpoint of picking 64 out of 64 games (63 games in the tournament plus the one play-in game), the odds of picking all 64 games would be about 1.84x 10^19 to 1 however, that only assumes a 50/50 chance of picking each individual game it does not take into account that some early round game are more likely to be won by the higher seed (no #16 has ever knocked off a #1, for example) and those straight odds also do not account for any possibility of upsets later on. Think about how many people around the country have been playing the brackets every year for the past X years millions upon millions of people, playing every single year yet, no one's ever picked all 63 or 64 games perfectly. Even when the tournament was 32 or 48 teams, no one was perfect. Things were a bit easier to pick back thennot because there were fewer teams, but because players played at least 3 years in college, so you knew how good most of the teams would be going into the tournament. I would say that even if someone claimed to pick every game of a tournament perfectly, the reality is that none of us have nearly enough lifetimes to actually accomplish such a feat. The actual odds can only be calculated once individual odds are establish for each possible matchup. All you can do is get as much info as you can about each team, check out statistical trends, and make your best guess. It's all guesswork anyway as they say, that's why they play the game. As you can tell from watching sports on TV, even the experts can't come close to picking 100% even though it's their full time job, as opposed to just being a hobby for the rest of us.
Q:How to calculate effect of hitting a higher tax bracket on my net pay? ?
Withholding for each paycheck is calculated based on the gross of that paycheck less any pretax deductions. But when you file your tax return, if too much is deducted you get the extra refunded. So hitting a higher tax bracket doesn't really increase your tax anywhere near that much once you figure in an increased refund. The tax on the amount you would have earned without the OT doesn't change. The tax on the extra, into the next bracket, is probably 25% for federal income tax, plus the 7.65% for ss and medicare, plus state and local taxes if there are any where you live. So the total tax on the extra that you earn might be around 1/3, but it doesn't change the tax you end up paying on the base amount - if more is withheld, then your refund is larger than it would have been.
Q:Can I use super glue on my brackets?
1st element do no longer super glue something in or outdoors of your physique(poisonous) 2d tell ur mum and dad third run your mouth under warm water(loosing up glue) 4th next time a bracket brakes(had braces) only go away it on my own positioned wax on it and contact ur orthodontist in the morning sorry btw:) desire this facilitates! and reliable success
Q:Bracket System??
Q:C++ beginner. Why the square brackets after type?
float percents[9]; 'percents' is an array. The square brackets here tell us that it is an array that can hold 9 floats. --- for(int i 0; i 9; i ) percents[i] (float)nums[i]/count; the brackets here are for how we access the array 'percents'. As variable 'i' increments (0, 1, 2, 3 9) we access that member of the array (the 1st, the 2nd, etc) This line of code is *Storing* floats into the array 'percents. --- int nums[9] { 0 }; The curly braces here allow us to optionally assign values to the array 'nums' at the same time we define the array 'nums'. A more complete assignment and definition might look like so: int nums[9] { 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 }; --- The code reads one *integer* at a time from the file. How lines are read depends on how many ints per line are in the file.
