Product Description:

1,Cast Iron Manhole Cover Description :

manhole cover is a removable plate forming the lid over the opening of a manhole, to prevent anyone or anything from falling in, and to keep out unauthorized persons and material.

Manhole covers are often made out of cast iron, concrete or a combination of the two. This makes them inexpensive, strong, and heavy, usually weighing more than 50 kilograms (110 lb). The weight helps to keep them in place when traffic passes over them, and makes it difficult for unauthorised people not having suitable tools to remove them.

A manhole cover sits on metal base, with a smaller inset rim which fits the cover. The base and cover are sometimes called "castings", because they are usually made by a casting process, typically sand-casting techniques.

5FAQ:

We have organized several common questions for our clientsmay help you sincerely

Q. Can I fit a square manhole cover into a round chamber?

A. Yes, there are a select few manhole covers which are square-to-round, meaning they will fit square or round chambers.

Q. I have a heavy traffic manhole cover but it has been broken by a forklift, why?

A. Forklifts have solid wheels which apply pressure differently to standard pneumatics and therefore covers must be specially adapted to suit this.

Q. I’ve measured my clear opening size but none of your covers match it, can you offer anything?

A. It’s likely that your cover is quite old and in imperial measurements which are no longer manufactured. However, we can offer bespoke solutions with manhole covers made to the specification you require.

Q. The project I’m working on requires a manhole cover with a quality finish, what’s available?

A. Naturally, galvanised steel of black polypropylene aren’t always ideal, and so we offer brass or stainless steel edging, as well as complete stainless steel covers.

Q. Odours are coming through where I have installed my manhole cover, why?

A. Your cover must be sealed and locked, or neoprene sealed, so you would require a T-Range Cover, or if you require a solid top, a selection of the PC range (e.g. PC2BG3, PC6CG3, not PC2BG) are suitable.

Q. I need access through my manhole cover on a regular basis, is this possible?

A. Yes, the majority of covers have built-in lifting keys, and for those that don’t we also supply lifting keys. However, the best way to obtain easy access is to have a bespoke, hinged manhole cover.

Q:Beyblade: Which performs better, Metal Fight or Heavy Metal?
Here is a PARTIAL, and not really close to complete list i took off of Wiki Primary heavy metal subgenres 1.1 Black metal 1.2 Death metal 1.3 Doom metal 1.4 Folk metal 1.5 Funk metal 1.6 Glam metal 1.7 Gothic metal 1.8 Groove metal 1.9 Industrial metal 1.10 Metalcore 1.11 Neo-classical metal 1.12 Nü metal 1.13 Post-metal 1.14 Power metal 1.15 Progressive metal 1.16 Sludge metal 1.17 Speed metal 1.18 Stoner metal 1.19 Thrash metal 2 Cross-genre terms within heavy metal 2.1 Alternative metal 2.2 Avant-garde metal 2.3 Christian metal 2.4 Extreme metal 2.5 NWOBHM 2.6 Rap metal 2.7 Symphonic metal 2.8 Viking metal and there are MANY many more subgenres... like Gorecore, Grindcore, etc..... for me... all that really matters is.... Heavy Metal, Thrash, Power, Death, Black and Alt Metal. IMO... all the rest fall into one of these...and I really see no good reason to have to create a NEW genre for every minor variation in the form.
Q:Help! Please I need a quick metal fact!!?
Cradle of Filth Nightwish Children of Bodom Lamb of God 3 Inches Of Blood Hatebreed
Q:Classify these rock/metal bands?
Metal fan. I think it's a good source for getting information on many metal bands but for the most part, I don't care for it at all. I think it's little more than the metal elitist capitol of the internet. The moderators that run it just love thinking that they're the ones who say what metal is and isn't and are some of the biggest metal elitists you'll find on the internet. They completely forbid genres like nu metal and glam metal (despite having Mötley Crüe and Twisted Sister archived under heavy metal lol) and yet according to them, Rush is officially a metal band. They don't even allow bands that have had major influences on heavy metal like Blue Öyster Cult and Van Halen. Not even Led Zeppelin is allowed in the archives. To me, to not allow those bands is very misleading. Especially not allowing Led Zeppelin; whether you see them as metal or not, there's no denying that they're one of the biggest pioneers of heavy metal. So yeah, I think the Metal-Archives are a joke and little more than a limited encyclopedia for metal elitists.
Q:any good metal instrumentals?
It's the Leaves' Eyes one. Evanescense isn't metal. Leaves Eyes has a lot of gothic metal influence in their music. Evanescense has a much more goth rock type of feel. There's not that much of a difference, but to me, the Leaves Eyes one is heavier and just has that metal feel.
Q:American or European Metal?
Deicide!!!!!!!!
Q:Are more metal bands christian?
This would depend on the type of metal somewhat. In my experience, gorilla glue does not work real well with metal to metal as it is not porous. I have used it to glue metal to wood and it works well with sheets of non galvanized steel to non pressure treated wood. For small metal pieces, it would probably not work well as gorilla glue also expands alot, and is not flexible at all. What I would recommend if this is something decorative is to check into having it soldered, if looks aren't an issue and it has to bear a load check into having it welded.
Q:What will bleach do to metals?

Q:Favourite Rock/ Metal sub genre?
I am a huge Metal Gear fan so my answers are pretty simple 1) My favorite by far is big boss from Snake Eater, since he is the Original, and Solid is for the most part his clone I think that The Big Boss would win in a fight. 2) This is a hard choice between Metal Gear Solid for the ps1, and Metal Gear solid 3 for the ps2. They were both awesome games it's just hard to choose. 3) The Metal Gear movie is already in production and is set for a 2009 release last I heard, I think it will be really interesting to see what they do with it.
Q:Your favorite Metal songs and bands?
Typical categories for metals are ferrous and non-ferrous. Ferrous metals have iron in them: galvanised steel, mild steel, tin plated mild steel Non-ferrous metals don't have iron in them: coper, aluminum, brass, lead Thermosetting plastic and butyl rubber are not metals, they are polymers.
