Product Description:

1,Cast Iron Manhole Cover Description :

manhole cover is a removable plate forming the lid over the opening of a manhole, to prevent anyone or anything from falling in, and to keep out unauthorized persons and material.

Manhole covers are often made out of cast iron, concrete or a combination of the two. This makes them inexpensive, strong, and heavy, usually weighing more than 50 kilograms (110 lb). The weight helps to keep them in place when traffic passes over them, and makes it difficult for unauthorised people not having suitable tools to remove them.

A manhole cover sits on metal base, with a smaller inset rim which fits the cover. The base and cover are sometimes called "castings", because they are usually made by a casting process, typically sand-casting techniques.

We have organized several common questions for our clientsmay help you sincerely

Q. Can I fit a square manhole cover into a round chamber?

A. Yes, there are a select few manhole covers which are square-to-round, meaning they will fit square or round chambers.

Q. I have a heavy traffic manhole cover but it has been broken by a forklift, why?

A. Forklifts have solid wheels which apply pressure differently to standard pneumatics and therefore covers must be specially adapted to suit this.

Q. I’ve measured my clear opening size but none of your covers match it, can you offer anything?

A. It’s likely that your cover is quite old and in imperial measurements which are no longer manufactured. However, we can offer bespoke solutions with manhole covers made to the specification you require.

Q. The project I’m working on requires a manhole cover with a quality finish, what’s available?

A. Naturally, galvanised steel of black polypropylene aren’t always ideal, and so we offer brass or stainless steel edging, as well as complete stainless steel covers.

Q. Odours are coming through where I have installed my manhole cover, why?

A. Your cover must be sealed and locked, or neoprene sealed, so you would require a T-Range Cover, or if you require a solid top, a selection of the PC range (e.g. PC2BG3, PC6CG3, not PC2BG) are suitable.

Q. I need access through my manhole cover on a regular basis, is this possible?

A. Yes, the majority of covers have built-in lifting keys, and for those that don’t we also supply lifting keys. However, the best way to obtain easy access is to have a bespoke, hinged manhole cover.

Q:Metal anyone??
Q:Whats the difference between black metal and death metal?
I don't know what you mean by metal other than heavy metal or just metal in general, so... Progressive in metal is differentiated from other metal by several things. You can have more than just progressive metal too, you can have progressive black metal (Klabautamann, Subarctic Heir), progressive death metal (Opeth, Death), progressive [heavy] metal (Winds (Nor)), progressive thrash metal (Turbulence (Grc))... etc. Progressive metal often has clean passages, time signatures other than your standard 4/4 or 6/4, and musically complex melodies. That's not to say that the melodies are complex from a playing standpoint, but that in music theory standpoint they're complex and/or unusual. Alternating key changes, especially ones not typical like going by 5ths, but instead changing keys to the third (I.E. instead of going from C to G (5th), going from C to E (3rd)). Often times the rhythm arrangement will be as musically complex as the melody. Progressive songs also tend to be much longer than traditional songs, where as say a regular/tradition metal song would last 3-5 minutes, an average progressive metal song may last 5-10 minutes. Progressive metal lyrics also tend to be more conceptual, and albums tend to be more conceptual, often times telling a story, with each song being a different chapter of the story. Progressive metal also tends to have a lot of shredding in its music. Mostly what sets progressive metal out is its experimentation in compositional complexity, often taking influence from classical music and jazz. This is not to be confused with avant-garde, which tends to lend its experimentation to using non-standard instruments, or using standard instruments in non-standard ways.
Q:What band most reflects metal?
Q:what metals do metal detectors pick up?
Because conductors have the tendency of gaining and losing heat very easily.
Q:Does Anyone Here Listen To Metal?
i love my chemical romance they are the best band in the world, but they are most deff. NOT death metal. a good metal band is Bullet For My Valentine.
Metal used to be a form of rock but modern metal has broken away from rock completely, yes there should be.
Q:Whats your opinion on Heavy Metal?
Slayer - Thrash Metal Cannibal Corpse - Death Metal Arch Enemy - Death Metal Mötley Crüe - Glam Metal Motörhead - Progressive Metal Deep Purple - Classic Metal Cream - Classic Metal 3 Inches of Blood - Thrash Metal Lamb Of God - Metalcore Mastodon - Metalcore Chimaira - Metalcore Amon Amarth - Death Metal Anthrax - Thrash Metal Dillinger Escape Plan - Metalcore Guns N Roses - Pop Metal Quiet Riot - Pop Metal Ted Nugent - Hard Rock Judas Priest - Power Metal Scorpions - Power Metal Kittie - Nu Metal Krokus - Hard Rock Opeth - Goth Metal Pantera - Groove Metal Ratt - Pop Metal Rob Zombie - Hardcore Sepultura - Thrash Metal Venom - Black Metal Wolfmother - Stoner Rock I should have put them into some order but the info is still there
Q:what are some uses to metals?
The two things that I enjoy the most in music are (1) power and (2) melody. Heavy metal is the genre I find that in. Personally, I don't pay much attention to the image that goes along with metal music in some people's minds. Most people I know don't listen to metal and don't even know that I listen to metal. Rebellion or appearing cool have nothing to do with it. I like what I like. BQ: Power/Prog metal. My favorite band at the moment is Sonata Arctica. BQ2: If you consider Bon Jovi heavy metal, my first album was New Jersey. BQ3: 11, but I had been listening to the glam stuff since I was 8. BQ4: I couldn't care less what other people's views of Metal are (if you couldn't gather that from the fact that I put forward Bon Jovi as a metal artist).
Q:why no love for nu metal?
Dream Theater Yngwie Malmsteen Morbid Angel Cradle of Filth Black Sabbath Corrosion of Conformity Pantera Symphony X Six Feet Under Napalm Death Carcass Immolation Benediction Incantation Dismember Earth Crisis Fear Factory Megadeth Slayer Metallica (80s-90s) Deicide Morgoth Voivod Venom Death Obituary Cannibal Corpse
Q:Metal Guitar players?
Pig Destroyer (grind) Blood Red Throne (brutal death metal w/ member of Emperor) Kronos (brutal/technical death metal) Krisiun (brutal death metal) Deeds of Flesh (brutal/technical death metal) Misery Index (basically dying fetus minus John Gallegher) Brujeria (Grind/death metal band sang in mexican) Carcass (Grind) Cryptopsy (brutal/technical death metal) Lock Up (death metal made up of members from At the Gates, Napalm Death, and Fear Factory)
