Malleable Iron Pipe Fittings Fig No.90 Elbow

Malleable Iron Pipe Fittings Fig No.90 Elbow

Q:What are the signs if you have too much Iron? Like I know if you have a lot of Iron you can get poisioning from it. What are the symptoms and signs of Iron poisioning.
Symptoms of iron poisoning usually become evident within 6 hours after swallowing an excessive amount of iron. Iron corrodes your intestinal lining and is a direct irritant to the stomach. People with iron poisoning can have the following symptoms: Severe vomiting Diarrhea Abdominal pain Dehydration and lethargy if not treated adequately
Q:Okay I get low iron. My doctor gives me iron pills to take. Sometimes my iron gets so low I start to shake really bad My head starts to hurt bad and it starts to spin I drink 1-2 cups of o j and within 5 minutes I‘m fine.
Yes it is fineGood Luck. Iron supplements can be taken over several months to increase iron levels in the blood. Iron supplements can cause irritation of the stomach and discoloration of bowel movements. They should be taken on an empty stomach, or with orange juice, to increase absorption.
Q:I have to take calcium and vitamin B twice a day, as well as iron tablets, also twice a day. I am told calcium prevents absorbtion of iron. What should be the interval between the calcium tablets and the iron tablets? Is one hour enough?
Regarding iron, there is evidence that calcium can interfere with its absorption. For this reason, it is advised to avoid taking iron supplements with calcium supplements or even with milk. Additionally, some studies suggest that ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) can enhance the absorption of iron when taken together, so orange juice or apple juice might be a good choice here. Also, some studies suggest that iron can impair the absorption of calcium. Additionally, caffeine may also impair calcium absorption, so beverages containing caffeine should be limited or avoided. Ingestion of oxalates (found in chocolate and spinach) and phytates (found in whole grains) can also impair calcium absorption. If you are worried about improper calcium/iron absorption, depending on what else you take, you can wait at least two or more hours after the iron to take the calcium. Another point to consider is that calcium absorption is increased in an acidic environment, so tablets should be taken with meals.
Q:What is the colour of iron ions?Iron(II) ion greenIron(III) ion yellowRust (Iron oxide + water) black or brownExplain why the rust of iron is not green or yellow, but black or brown.
Actually, the iron(III) ion, [Fe(H2O)6]3+, is an extremely pale purplish colour, as you will see if you grow a crystal of iron ammonium alum, NH4Fe(SO4)2.12H2O.This is because the ion is high spin d5, meaning that d-d transitions are spin-forbidden, and therefore even weaker than usual. The yellow colour of iron(III) in solution is due to species such as [Fe(III)(H2O)5OH]2+, which absorb strongly in the blue-near UV through charge transfer transitions, in which an electron is transferred from a coordinated anion to the reducible central ion. Compare the deep purple colour of permanganate, which has a highly irreducible central ion, but no d electrons at all. The pale green colour of Fe(II) is due to d-d transitions. The reason why the d orbitals are not degenerate in transition metal complexes is that they interact to different extents with the coordinated groups. Remember that when we talk about Fe2+ in aqueous solution, this is really just a lazy way of referring to the [Fe(H2O)6]2+ complex ion. The strong colours of iron oxides are due to charge transfer, including in some cases, such as magnetite, charge transfer between iron(II) and iron(III) in slightly different environments. Intervalence charge transfer of this kind is also responsible for the extremely deep colour of Prussian Blue.
Q:im looking for a piece of pure (or, very close to) iron to use in a science experiment. the experiment is one where you drop a piece of iron in hydrogen peroxide and it speeds up the chemical decomposition. please and thank you!
Pure iron is very rare. pure in the sense it is not combined with oxygen. There are a few deposits of pure iron (native iron) in Russia. However, you are probably not looking for this purity. A hardware store would be your best bet.
Q:I have trouble crisply ironing a pair of slacks that are 67% Modal, 28% Wool, and 5% Spandex. The result is generally ironed, but with a few wrinkles in them, or an appearance that doesn‘t looked freshly ironed.I spray the pants and let that sit for about 10 minutes, then iron with a setting that is just above the wool setting.Any other tips?
Try this: Set iron for WOOL setting. Add water to the iron. Always use steam heat when pressing. Never iron wool fabric dry. Squeeze gently to remove excess water. Do NOT wring the garment. Press garment on the inside of the garment to avoid surface shine. Use a pressing cloth when top pressing. A clean white handkerchief or cotton cloth may also be used. When pressing napped fabrics, place a piece of the same fabric or a thick terry cloth towel on the ironing board to prevent crushing. Shine created by pressing may be reduced by sponging white vinegar on surface of wool garment. Rinse thoroughly. Some recommended notions for someone with a lot of wool to press are a steam iron, a tailor's ham for pressing curved areas such as collars and lapels, a seam roll for pressing seams open without making a visible seam edge, a point presser for hard-to-reach places, and a press cloth. One common trade name for rayon is Modal?. To iron rayon, when necessary, use the steam setting on a warm iron and a dry pressing cloth on the inside of the garment. So, if you can make sense out of that.I would say that your best bet is to iron it moist (don't let it sit) and to use some of the professional accessories to get a crisp finish.
Q:Identify what is added to iron to make the different properties of the steel?
Iron occurs naturally with some impurities like carbon, sulpher, phosphorous, manganese .etc.Each of these has its special effect on the final properties of the iron alloy. Therefore we actually make iron-carbon alloy with controlled ratios of carbon. Carbon gives the iron (alloy called steel) some softness and elasticity and reduces its hardness. Some additives are intensionally added to the alloy to aquire some needed properties, example :molybdenum, chromuim.etc
Q:I have thick curly biracial hair and i need aperfect good all-round flat iron. is the RUSK one good what about the HAI? plz help. THX!
It's alright, but the CHI is still the best.
Q:I say Iron Man
Iron Man. Even if Spider-Man was wearing the Iron-Spider suit that Iron Man made, he'd end up losing. Also, Iron Man incorporated his own spider sense into his armor and he can effectively nullify Spider-Man's.
