Q:I'm doing this project in school about mobile phones, and I was wondering how mobile phones or special made mobile phones for diabled people help disabled people
Cell phones are helpful for people with disabilities for all the same reasons that they are useful to people without disabilities. They have a number of features which make them readily accessible to people with various types of disabilities. For example, many can be activated by either touch or voice commands. The standard way of communicating on a cell phone is to talk, but, if talking is difficult or even impossible, text messaging can be used to exchange information. People who are deaf or hearing impaired can find cell phones which not only allow for text messaging but which are also compatible with hearing aids and with TTYs and TDDs, the devices deaf people use to communicate over the phone.
Q:I heard that T-mobile phones are compatible with Boost SIMsAnyone know if this is true?
uhm im pretty sure its gona work, as long as its unlocked. just try it what do you got to lose.
Q:I saw a virgin mobile jax phone for $14.99 I'm thinking about getting it cause it has a mp3 on it and I could use it as my permanent clock. I was just wondering if there is any activation fee or anything because I don't want to use
If you don't want to use it a phone, then you shouldn't have any problems. There's no activation fee, but you might have to pay for the first month's free to help activate it before you can use the programs. Not sure if you would or not, I just paid it on mine since I use it as a phone any way. If you want to use mp3's on it like you said, I'd watch out because it may be hard. I haven't had the same phone you said about exactly, but I have had several Virgin Mobile phones and Virgin Mobile has all the phones they sell set to not download anything from sites they don't like, which basically means anything free. That includes trying to send files over via cable or even bluetooth. For just an alarm, it should be a good choice, jst don't hope to get a lot done with it unless you wanna pay more to unlock it to download the songs you want if you want it as an mp3 player as well.
Q:I am looking for a new phone as my old one broke.Any ideas on a good phone,There are a few things I need this phone have-I hate texting on mobiles with the 1-ABC Layout so QWERTY is a must-I have a budget of ?100-Camera would be nice-Mp3 would be nice-Video and memory card slots and good too-I dont care what network but O2 is not that great were I live-Dont care what brand the phone isAny phones like this? Thanks, HarryPS: I dont mind contracts as long as there under ?20 a mounth(Internet would be great as I love facebook!)
shop.o2 .uk/mobile_phone/BlackB It's the Blackberry 8310. I think it covers what you want and on a contract for ?19.58 a month and it's for 24months with 400 texts and 200 mins. With free calls to O2 numbers. With the contract the phone is then ?97.86
Q:(if you havent had this happen or your not 100% sure. please dont answer!)My best friend had his T-Mobile phone stolen 5 days ago. It was a RZR V3. He didnt cancel the contract or the SIM card, so he could see who was being called, to attempt to find out who took it. The calls were all over the place, in different cities around here. Is there anyway to track his phone and/or SIM to see what area he lives in? Maybe the handset? Hes dreading calling T-Mobile because he owes money, but could they do anything? And finally, what happens if the SIM card gets changed?
He needs to inform T-Mobile about the theft immediately. T-Mobile will charge your friend for the calls and sent text messages the thief sent. It would be best to prepare some proof of the theft to prove that the thief made those calls or sent those messages. Getting your phone stolen is bad, but paying for the the calls or messages of the thief is worse.
Q:Hey,what is your opinion about mobile phones. What are the negetive and positive aspeckts. What do you thing ?Amira
i think their great, i mean we live in a model world, you can contact anybody really quickly and efficiently as long as you have their number and battery etc. It does it annoy me when your out at a restaurant having a nice meal and a mobile keeps on ringing and lil kids playing their ringtones really really annoying me apart from that their really helpful and great as long as their not used so much it become antisocial to the people your with.
Q:Mobile phone A cargo B What does it mean?
B line of mobile phone quality and licensed between the same quality, but also in the telecommunications network registration, but not in the official customer registration information, manufacturers are generally out of a small amount of supply. Contrast with the line, the difference is after-sales service.
Q:Why gas stations can not call the phone?
When the RF current in the metal conductor between the circulation, in case of corrosion or poor contact, it will produce radio frequency sparks.
Q:i have internet connection on my nokia 5300 and i use it for connecting to internet on my computer too (via usb cable). will my mobile phone ever get a virus if there's a virus on my computer? if yes where can i find a suitable anti-virus for my nokia 5300?
it quite is totally plenty accessible to be contaminated from information that are placed there interior the computer and transferred a replica to the memory card once you inserted the cardboard to get or shop information from/interior the computer. yet do not issue you frequently can reinstall the OS of your cellular telephone. :) And there are virus removing courses are accessible for cellular telephones.
Q:Does it cost money to use Wifi on a mobile phone? I can understand paying for normal internet usage from your network but i'm not sure about wifi?!?! Please Help I'm thinking of getting the Nokia 5800
No it does not cost money to use wifi on your phone. The only thing you will have to pay for with wifi is the wifi router and your normal internet bill.
