FAQ of Tower Crane

Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?

A: Four main categories: normal tower crane with cat head, internal climbing tower crane, top less tower crane and luffing tower crane.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?

A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

Q:Under what circumstances are winches used and under what circumstances tower cranes are used?
Tower crane hoisting hoist how to brake, driving forklift personnel must undergo professional training, through non emergency situations, can not turn sharp and slam the brakes. 3.3.9 in the chute when running on empty 1)
Q:We had a very large tree removed from beside our house. The crane parked in the driveway and caused four very large depressions and crushed concrete.
Yes- it almost certainly will be covered. Most (if not all) homeowners policies provide coverage for driveways, walkways, etc. See your policy for specific language. I was an adjuster for 15 years, and I handled this sort of claim on a regular basis. It is very common for large vehicles to damage driveways, especially dump trucks. As long as there is sufficient evidence that the crane caused the damage (rather than normal wear and tear) it will almost certainly be covered. Your homeowners insurance will then subrogate against the tree removal company.
Q:A crew built this huge crane to build an office building next to my house.... There is a huge flag hanging from the top of it.... Why does the construction company do this???
Wind becomes an issue when lifting large loads with a crane that has a long boom. On some large cranes you may see an anemometer near the end of the crane's boom. The crane operator will usually not make certain heavy lifts if the wind speed is too high. If the crane does not have an anemometer, they may be using a flag to tell them the direction of the wind and to give them a rough estimate of wind's speed.
Q:Is there a talk show on the radio or TV similar to the Frasier Crane Show where people call in and tell their problems and the doctor gives them advice? One that's either in the Los Angeles area or nationally syndicated?

Q:In the Bride comes to Yellow Sky, Stephen Crane uses symbolism to evoke in readers a sense of the “old west”. However, the knowledge of the “old west” that the average person holds in his or her mind is false and nothing more than a Hollywood created myth. By using the symbols inherent in Hollywood’s old western myth Crane manipulates the reader’s misconceptions only to leave them feeling stupid when he reveals a hole in that way of thinking with the irrational ending. This is actually a thesis i'm working on for an analytical essay on the piece.I need to know if anyone has ever read the story and gotten the same feeling Crane was having fun at the reader's expense or perhaps poking fun at the old western I have very good points from the text to support my thesis but i cannot find anything online that touches on the possability of this being a parody. Anyone else think Crane's having fun or is a bit condescending in this piece?
I have to say no. Your question erred in a significant way. Hollywood didn't create this false image of the West. The false image was created a long time before by people living in the age of the incidents. It didn't take publishers long to notice that people living back East enjoyed these gritty depictions of the West. Dime novels were a big seller in the 18th and 19th centuries. Look at Stephen Crane. He died in 1900. Hollywood was non-existent as the facet of American life that it holds now. Crane would have been writing this story with the idea that he was depicting a real slice of the wild West that was becoming more civilized.
Q:can somebody give me good info on this. its a martial art im very interested in leaning and i would like some background info on it first thx
Hi. I study Fukien White Crane Boxing - Yong Chun Bai He Quan. It was developed by a young lady named Fang Chiniang. Its foundation in a practice called Sam Chien or 3 Conflicts. Through this training you develop internal power and strong foundation. From the Yong Chun, which is the original, came other branches that are practiced in Taiwan - Feeding Crane, Shouting Crane, Shaking Crane, Sleeping Crane, Flying Crane, and others. There is another Crane style that is known as Tibetant Crane and is not associated with the Fukien Crane. It was developed by a Tibetan Lama (Monk). Fukien Crane concepts are Float, Sink, Swallow, Spit. They dictate different aspects of application and are pretty clear as far as their attributes. The White Crane Style is not very common and you would have to do lots of research to find someone near you to train with. This is true about the Hakka Arts in general. Where are you located? Another thing you should know is that White Crane is one of the major influences in the development of Karate.

Q:the question is :Two cranes can unload a ship together in 15 hours. The faster crane takes 16 hours less than the slower crane, if each were to unload the same ship alone. How long doesi t take for each crane to unload this ship? I done most of the math but i am stuck with this last part .15+- radical 1185/2
No. of hours for the slower to unload alone—x: 1/x + 1/(x - 16) = 1/15 (x - 16 + x)/(x? - 16x) = 1/15 15(2x - 16) = x? - 16x 30x - 240 = x? - 16x x? - 46x = - 240 x? - 23x = - 240 + (- 23)? x? - 23x = - 240 + 529 (x - 23)? = 289 x - 23 = 17 x = 40 No. of hours for the faster to unload alone: = 40 - 16 = 24 Answer: slower crane, 40 hrs; faster crane, 24 hrs Check: = 15(1/40 + 1/24) = 15([3 + 5]/120) = 15(8/120) = 15(1/15) = 15/15 or 1
Q:Crane lifts a 600-kg bin with an initial acceleration of 2 m/s^2. Determine the force in each of the supporting cables due to this motion.?
F = ma Assume the crate is uniformly loaded, both cables will carry the same force F(AB)(4/5) = (600/2)(9.8 + 2) F(AB)(4/5) = 3540 F(AB) = 4425 N F(BC) = 4425 N F(B-Crane) = 600(9.8 + 2) F(B-Crane) = 7080 N As a form of exchange, please remember to vote a Best Answer from among your results. This is not the same as like or thumbs up which are also nice and do boost points, but only after asker awards initial points with their vote.
