Q:Explain why machinery used on a.c supply is usually rated in kVA instead of kW.?
Because most machinery present an inductive load and so has a less-than-unity power factor. The current peak lags the voltage peak in the two waveforms. However, as the current is drawn at a lower voltage (away from the peak), the load current is higher to get the same overall power to the machine. eg. if it took 20% more current to make up for the voltage phase offset, a 1000W load would be taking the same current as a 1200W load at unity power factor. That's the VA rating, it's equivalent to watts at unity power factor.
Q:AC/DC MACHINERY HELP??
This is the answer I gave 3 other askers of the same question. brake horse power of an engine is the actual amount of horse power an engine can put out. Using 745.5 watts as a horse power, the engine will supply the equivalent of 30 times 745.7 watts at 30 brake horse power. This is 22,371watts. The generator is supplying 20 Kw or 20,000 watts. The difference in the engine output and the generator output is 22,371 minus 20,000 or 2.371 watts. I don't see how the answer is 1039 watts, if my calculations are correct. Perhaps someone else will have the answer you seek. I may be missing something in your question
Q:manufacturers os pulses machinery?
Dear Shweta, Please go to Google search, enter pulses grading machine manufacturers in India , click on enter. You will opened with hundreds of manufacturers list, who are manufacturing all machinery's related to pulses, like pulse grading, dehusking, cleaning, packing and even oil extraction plants. Good luck.
Q:What machinery do you hate the most?
Any kind of dangerous shop tool... Table saws Compound miter saws Belt sanders When I was in shop class I was always paranoid of cutting my hand off.
Q:identify 5 two stroke engine machines and list there function, components and when and where they may be used.
Q:Machinery's handbook?
Wow what a find. I'd say a few hundered bucks to the right person depending on the condition. The information inside is obsolete. I would honestly contact some place like the Smithsonian to see if they would like it for a display. I would love to thumb through it to see what type of stuff they had in it then. I know the one I have now has so much awesome stuff about everything.
Q:Poll: Can you operate heavy machinery?
Do fork lifts count? I also can drive a cherry picker and pallet riders. The pallet riders are the most fun. PICK ME I really deserve it! PLEASE!!!!
Q:Material costs, machinery costs, management costs, labor costs accounted for the proportion of construction projects
5, travel expenses, property insurance, 6, 7, 8, engineering maintenance fees, sewage charges, 9, labor protection fees, inspection fees, 10 test, 11, outside the unit management fee, 12, finishing materials and sporadic freight, 13, material shortage and damage
Q:I have a question about workouts without machinery and special materials?
It doesn't mean something is wrong with you, it simply means you're upper body muscle is not developed. There's many exercises you can do without weights and what not. A couple examples for chest (pecs/shoulders/triceps) would of course be a push-up, but you can do different types of push-ups. Such as wide stance, diamond pushups, or plyo pushups. You want to do a wide variety of workouts to gain muscle. Get a set of dumbells and you could do so much more. They're usually fairly cheap at Target or something.
Q:what is this contruction machinery called?
Can you be a little more specific ? There are two yellow machines on the right. One is a man lift and the other is a mixing hopper of some kind. The green piece of equipment is some kind of auger that looks like it may be for dispensing some kind of material. The white piece of machinery with the bucket loader under the hopper is called a BobCat. Some of these machines do not look familiar as being used here in the US. The photos are showing how the company's drive hubs are being used in different situations. I don't see that they describe the different pieces of equipment. Sorry I couldn't help more.
