Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?

A: Four main categories: normal tower crane with cat head, internal climbing tower crane, top less tower crane and luffing tower crane.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?

A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

Q:what the meaning in giving someone a paper crane?
the meaning is if you make a thousand crane your wish will come true. and if you give someone a paper crane it symbolizes friendship! :)
Q:lifting a machine by two crane?
Not enough information. What is the load weight? What is the size? How do you plan to attach to the machine. What size is the beam cross section? Capacity of the cranes? And so on. It sounds like you might need an engineer to supervise instead of relying on Yahoo Answers for an answer to a potentially deadly if not expensive way to fail.
Q:Stephen Crane?
Crane is noted for his early employment of naturalism, a literary style in which characters face realistically portrayed and often bleak circumstances, but Crane emphasized impressionistic imagery and biblical symbolism rather than graphic realism. Crane's realism, writes William Peden, is often more impressionistic than photographic; his interest in psychological probing, his innovations in technique and style, and his use of imagery, paradox and symbolism give much of his best work a romantic rather than a naturalistic quality. Both realism and symbolism, the two major directions of modern fiction, have their American beginnings in Crane's work.
Q:Really not sure about white crane kung fu?
I am a student of White Crane Fist. If you can, please tell me the name of the teacher, the school and the address so I can give an answer based on fact and not speculation... which is something that is rampant on this forum. There are different schools or versions of WCF. There is also th Tibetan White Crane, which is related to the Lama Fist. I have no real knowledge of Tibetan style. First thing is, if you are referring to the Fukien WCF: it is not like most martial arts you are familiar with. It was developed by a woman named Fang Chi Niang. Her father was a master of the 18 Lohan Style. It is an Internal art that uses concepts, movement and intention as the foundation of its arsenal. White Crane fist will develop the ability to execute explosive power against an attack. There really is not too much punching-type striking. When you see a closed fist, it usually is a grappling technique. Palm thrusting, claw grapples, spear hand and finger thrusts are used. The foundation training for WCF is San zhan, also spelled San jan or San Chien. The latter is the closest since it is a Fukienese art. San Chien develops power and rootedness. Fukien WCF has influenced the Five Ancestor Fist, which contains WCF concepts. It is also the predecessor to what is known today as Karate, both the Shuri and Naha lineages. If you are fortunate enough to have a Fukien WCF school near you, you would be a fool not to take full advantage. I have to travel an hour to see my Sifu. And if I had to travel more, I would. Please, send me the info so I can give you my researched results.

Q:Does anyone have any info on John B. Crane?
Do you mean the Lecturer John B. Crane of the Redpath Chautauqua Collection? Thats the only one I know.
Q:Common themes in Stephen Crane's works?
Crane's work is often thematically driven by Naturalistic and Realistic concerns, including ideals versus realities, spiritual crises and fear. These themes are particularly evident in Crane's first three novels, Maggie: A Girl of the Streets, The Red Badge of Courage and George's Mother.[171] The three main characters search for a way to make their dreams come true, but ultimately suffer from crises of identity.[172] In The Red Badge of Courage, the main character both longs for the heroics of battle but ultimately fears it, demonstrating the dichotomy of courage and cowardice. He experiences the threat of death, misery and a loss of self.[173] Extreme isolation from society and community is also apparent in Crane's work. During the most intense battle scenes in The Red Badge of Courage, for example, the story's focus is predominately on the inner responses of a self unaware of others.[174] In The Open Boat, An Experiment in Misery and other short stories, Crane uses experiments with light, motion and color to express different degrees of epistemological uncertainty.[175] Similar to other Naturalistic works, Crane scrutinizes the position of man, who has been isolated not only from society, but also from God and nature. The Open Boat, for example, distances itself from the old Romantic optimism and affirmation of man's place in the world by concentrating on the characters' isolation.
Q:a horizontal joist carrying a travelling crane is simply supported over a span of 4m the mass of the crane is 150 kg?
figure shear first Let F be the max. crane load. for a simply supported symmetric load, the reactions at each end support will be half the total load. The reaction loads will also equal the shear load. 3000 N = (F + 150(9.8))/2 F = 4530 N The maximum bending moment will be the shear force times the moment arm of half the joist length 5000 Nm = [(F + 150(9.8))/2] N (2.0 m) 5000 = F + 150(9.8) F = 3530 N The bending moment max load is 1000 N less than the Shear max load so bending is the limiting factor The maximum load allowed is F = 3530 N 3530 / 9.8 = 360 kg As a form of exchange, please remember to vote a Best Answer from your results.
Q:Do cranes, the bird, have any significance in Egyptian or Chinese mythology?
Yes, they do. Look it up over an Internet search engine.
