Q:I have a round wool rug thats been professionally cleaned twice and the smell is still there...?
This rug has had topical cleaning treatments, however, it has not been soaked in enzymes for several hours or overnight, rinsed, dried, and left to air out in the sun. Dogs, and even cats, will pee on wool rugs because they sense another animal in there territory. They will do this numerous times once they start making the cleaning project a real challenge. This rug, if valuable, needs to go to a shop for special treatment, if the pets are still part of the equation, do not place it on the floor or the peeing will start over, guaranteed.
Q:Carpet Removal & Installation for Cheap.?
I okorder.com
Q:How do I remove bad carpet stains?
Depends on the stain. Tell me more. Here are a few pointers: 1. Koolaid is taken out by using a steam iron, a PURE WHITE cloth, Ammonia (preferably lemon scented), and a steam Iron. Mix the Ammonia 1to1 with water and pour a small amount on the Kool-Aid stain. Place the white cloth on top of the stain and heat it with the Iron. Repeat as necessary. It is called Heat Transfer, the stain will soak up into the white cloth. If you use a colored cloth, the color from the cloth will soak into the carpet. 2. Urine when it dries turns to alkaline. The way to remove alkaline is with acid. Vinegar is an acid and works well. Also Protein stains like Blood and Urine set when you try to clean them with hot water, so use cold water when cleaning these types of stains. 3. For every 18 degrees of water temperature your soap will clean 100 percent better. Use VERY hot water to clean carpet, just so long as you are below 200 degrees. Thus the reason they call it steam cleaning. 4. Mechanical action (scrubbing) is the best way to clean most stains. Get vicious. 5. Always test any spot remover in a closet to make sure it is not taking out the color of your carpet. 6. Buy powdered water softener in your laundry soap section of the store and use it with your soap, it will make it work far better. 7. Keep it simple Stupid. Regular degreasers and cleaners work well in traffic lanes. Get a cheap pump up sprayer in your garden section of Walmart, add simple green and water, and spray the High traffic areas of your carpet and any spots. This is called a TLC or Traffic Lane Cleaner.
Q:There are several chenille carpet material. Which is the best choice for the bedroom?
I have several chenille carpet, cotton, superfine fiber, light Weinasi, there is a recently developed light wire (this drawback is a hair, good decorative effect, looks bright feeling! I have been in touch with this industry for several years, and I think it's good to choose superfine soldering iron. It's very beautiful.
Q:How do I clean my rug?
Make sure to shake it out really well. After you're done with that use a vacuum on its lowest level (If you have a looped rug- the bristles can damage it) So make sure the brissels aren't spinning! Afterwards you can sprinkle some backing soda on it, let it sit and vacuum again to get the musty, garage smell out of it! good Luck!
Q:I have a 12 x 16 foot persian rug and I wanted to know how much I could sell it for (approximately)...?
Persian rugs of that size could be worth up to $50,000, depending on the age, wear, and construction, including the materials and gauge. You need a proper appraisal, and then they don't just sell overnight. Suggest you find a different way to raise the money you need, or is it that you want.
Q:Can I put rubber backed rugs on prefinished hardwood floors?
Like the others said the wood may color naturally around the rugs due to the sun, but another HUGE concern is the rubber backing on most rubber backed carpets is that they can react with the finish on the wood and ruin the wood. The use of special matts under the rug can be used to prevent this. There are a couple types of these thin anti slip rug matts . You must get the one made for wood flooring. They also allow the wood to breathe. Any questions yo can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q:carpet cleaning solution?
I also have a white-based berger carpet, mine has a bit of brown and tan mixed in the pattern. I have in the past rented a steam cleaner and now own an Oreck Carpet Cleaner. Both work really well on berber carpet.
Q:best carpet cleaners?
After that, the cleaners offered by the organization have the most recent systems fundamental for a complete learning yield. All the coaches and teachers need to experience an escalated prepare up first and after that they are allotted with the cleaners. Indeed the syllabuses have been produced with the accomplished instructors of eminent colleges and schools. As this is a handy course, the learner independence has been held under close attention. Undertaking based strategy has been connected in outlining the syllabus which guarantees a complete and liberal learning yield. So after the effective consummation of the course, all the learners have a full verification information of their learning.
Q:help with my horse rugs !?!?!?
Sounds good, just also get a few cotton rugs hoods, and maybe a polar fleece or wool under rug. Also maybe a fly sheet for summer. Keep the cottons under your heavy turnouts always because the turnouts are a bugger to wash. I have 3 cotton sets on rotation for each horse and throw them in the washing machine every 2 weeks. My only thoughts would be do you need both levels of fill stable rugs? You could always put a fleece underneath the lower fill if it was extra cold or wear the higher fill turnout inside. My boys tend to wear their turnout rugs in the stable as well unless its too warm, which is why I ask. Don't know whether this helps, the weather may be very different (i think maybe my winters/fall/spring are a bit warmer) and also the types of rugs available may differ but my ponies outfits are summer: day- light cotton flag rug cotton hood or fly sheet (never naked because of showing, their coats fade) summer night: cotton rug hood or ripstop or both if cooler. Autumn/fall spring: day: cotton + light canvas or cotton + polar fleece night: 180fill turnout rug/neck rug over cotton Winter: Day: cotton + polar fleece + canvas (or no fill turnout instead of canvas if wet) Night: cotton + 250 or 300 fill turnout rug neck rug. once clipped which is usually early winter they get cotton rug, polar fleece hood polar fleece rug + 250 fill turnout. This is just in general, of course I does vary according to weather changes. They are stabled at night and out during the day all year except on their end of summer 'holidays' when they run around naked in the paddock for a few weeks. :) I love rug shopping, it becomes very addictive, beware! :P If you are in the uk, get this hood rug set, I love it :) bestturnedout.co.uk/images/bsheep... My horses would probably be embarrassed to be seen in it never speak to me again, but I like it, bit too expensive to ship to Australia sadly though :(
