Q:I just bought an exhaust tip with leds which needs to be wired up to the brake lights on my mazda 626. Can somebody tell me which colour wire it is (positive) on the wiring to the brake light? There are a few wires and I dont know which one it is! Thanx

Its either red or green,sometimes white if there is a black ground wire.

Q:ok, so i love making jewelry, and probably a year ago i went to michael's bought a roll-type thing of really soft, really, really thin silvery wire. a couple of days ago i went to michael's again and it wasn't there.as i said, the wire that i had is very thin, very soft, and also after you bend it, it won't snap back- it actually will never go back to being completely straight, even if you try to make it do that.is memory wire what i should be looking for?does anyone have any suggestions to what kind of wire i should get?

Q:i bought a wiring kit off OKorder it was a bullz 4 gauge kit. and i am running a rockford 500.2 n its rated for 700+ watts. so do you think my cheaper wiring kit is affecting performance? should i go snag up some bigger power wire for more power to run through it or is tht not how it wokrs?

you should add a capacitor to your system. a 5 fared should be good. it is a reserve for when the bass hits. it's less stress on your alternator and battery. and you won't get the headlight dimming affect when you have it cranked up. ask your local car audio shop. you should be good with 4 gauge.

it is called enameled magnet wire. try an electronics supply house or a motor and transformer electrical supply house. you can also purchase it online. you could also just take apart an old electric fan or door bell and unwind the magnetic wire. ~the other answerers don't understand wire, enameled magnet wire has a fine enamel insulation that needs to be sanded off in order to make a connection, as the enamel electrically insulates it to prevent an obvious short, but allows the inductive fields to easily pass through. it is used in all motors and most xfmr's.

Q:I have a 98 oldsmobile intrigue. Stock radio was taken out a while ago so all there is are wire hanging out. I don't know what I need, a wire connector or wire harness. Honestly don't know what's what. Also need to know how to use the wire connector/harness.and what goes to what

those wires you see are factory wiring for the factory radio. if your putting a aftermarket radio in it go to radio shack and ask for plug-ins for your car.with those plug-in all you do is hook the wiring from your aftermarket radio to them then plug them into the factory harness.

Yes, i had lime wire and i had to delete everything i had ever had on my computer it was a nightmaree.. but then i found Frostwire, its the exact same practicall but its blue.. you know how limewire's green, well iv never had any trouble with Frostwire, so i say its a much better choice ;D x

Shut the main breaker so you are off the grid and plug the generator into your dryer plug to reverse power your panel. Shut off the big things at the fuse box, AC, hot water heater, etc.

Wire does not carry soundwaves, at least not unless the ends of the wire have tin cans on them, and the wire is pulled taut between them! Wires can carry electrical signals which can be used to reproduce the sounds that caused them. This is how sound comes from such as your stereo system's speakers. Maybe that's what you actually mean? If so, copper wires (insulated, of course) are what you want, and if the distance you run the wires is great, the heavier the wire (gauge) the better. If you are transmitting high power to speakers, the wires have to be capable of handling the electrical current involved.

Q:Coming from my ceiling I have a black, a grey, 2 white, 2 bare and a red wire. Coming from my ceiling fan/light fixture is a green, black, black with a white stripe and a white wire. How exactly would I go about wiring this? It is a two switch setup without a remote.Thank you in advance.

Call the manufacturer about your ceiling fan. It may be designed to work with a light kit. I've done this myself. The grey and red sound like wiring that works with the light kit. The black, white, and green wires are hook to your house wire. (House wire is black, white, and bare (ground)).

TBI still has injectors. 2 of them located inside the throtlle body. they still have to have pulse width. So check that.
