- Battery light and Brake light are usually independent sensors/fault indicators. Battery may need replacement, or possibly be dead due to fault in the charging system (alternator). Most auto parts store can check both for free with proper testing equipment. Since electric power is dead or very low, the PCM could be throwing other false errors. Get the battery issue resolved first and other errors might go away. If not then continue with diagnosis. Brake light, could be a burnt out brake light bulb, dirty ABS sensors, or pads/shoes worn out and needs replacement, or low brake fluid level.

- Check your tail lights. In most cars, your dash lights and tail lights run off of the same fuse. Check your tail light fuse. If the fuse is good, check your dash light dimmer. It will be either on the headlight switch or on the dash.
- Q:new light switch and fixture and light still flickers
- As you have stated light still flickers I am assuming it flickered before you worked on it. In fact, that's the reason you replaced the switch and fixture. Am I right? If so and you are using the old bulb, replace it. But I'm thinking you have already done that. Right? So then the original problem is still there. You must have a loose connection somewhere between that switch and the panel. Turn off the power to that circuit and open boxes one at a time checking and tightening all connections. You will surely find one or more before the problem finally goes away. Be careful, and good luck.

- The Light Bulbs have two filaments in them. One is low light and the other is high light. So the low would be your taillight and when you use the turn or brake, the high light filament will light up unless it has broken or burnt out. It is normal to only have two lights on each side as the Turn/Brake light. So you only need to replace one light bulb. the Left outside.
