The washing machine can't wash the carpet. Because carpets and washing clothes are different, are generally more heavy, area and relatively large.

Q:Our living room carpets really stained, and no matter what we use to clean it...It doesnt work. Even if professionals do it it looks like nothing helped. Any suggestions on gettin it clean?

The best product is goo gone it works on carpet and gets ALL stains out, it is very good! Look it up online. You could also try oxi clean which works vry well, but id stick with goo gone is they are very deep stains.

Q:I had a bad stain on my carpet that nothing would remove. So I tried peroxide on it, and it took it out. So I was wondering if peroxide, baking soda, and things of that nature can be used in carpet cleaning machines?

It depends upon the stain, if your carpet has a light color you can use the hydrogen peroxide , but it is not advisable because it has a little amount of bleach. in using baking soda this will only absorb the awful smell. yet very effective.

Q:What is the Pearl carpet, what is the Pearl carpet

Three types: A, Fine pearl carpets(there is pearl powder on surface and it's smooth and delicate) B, Piece pearl carpets(there are particles and the surface color is more bright and glossy) C. Glazing pearl carpets( put a layer of glue on the original surface, the surface is smooth and drops chip)

Q:What's the purpose of an excercise rug? Does it really keep your horse warmn just on rhe hindquarters? But don't horses usually heat up with work. Can it be used walk,trot canter and too jump? I just want to know the purpose of this.

Exercise rugs are mainly used on horses that have a poor coat or are clipped to give them a bit of extra warmth in the winter. They are primarily used to put on a horse when doing work such as hacking or activities that involves a lot of walking or some trotting. They arent really used so much when they horse is in harder work like cantering and jumping as the horse will be working harder and get hotter easier and there is the risk of the rug flapping which might scare the horse when working in faster paces. These rugs are often also used just to put over a horse to keep them warm when they are standing around waiting for a competition or the likes to start. xx

Q:I have a 1 yr old Male, fixed, cat. He's never given me ANY problems. except lately he's been urinating on the bathroom rug.. Well, it sounds worse than it really is.. he did it once, then I washed the rug.. it was clean for a day.. then he peed on it once again. There are NO other cats in the house, the litter box IS in the bathroom. I can not scold him or correct the behavior because of the amount of time lapsed when he's gone on the rug. So he wouldn't know what he's being corrected for ( I was in Dog training) This is his only vice. :( Please help!

That's true about male humans missing the toilet...I had one bathroom rug that was getting peed on and that's what we attributed to it, it hasn't happened since my roommates moved out. I would take the rug up for now, to see if he stops. Also, spraying citrus or vinegar on it MIGHT keep him from doing it again, but if it's due to male humans missing the toilet then he will keep doing it. Again, I suggest just taking the rug up for a while. Wash it with the baking soda and vinegar.

Q:Urine odor is old and on natural dye rug.

You can wash down the walls with a solution of TSP (tri sodium phosphate) which can be found in the paint department. Air sponges will help absorb the odour in the air. Finally, a really good primer/sealant and a good bathroom paint should take care of the problem. If that STILL doesn't work - the smell could be coming from the grout in the tiles (if any) around the toilet. In that case, lift the toilet and clean with TSP or bleach, replace wax seal, re seat the toilet and caulk around the base of the toilet. If you do use bleach and/or ammonia - DO NOT MIX THEM!!! They produce a very dangerous, nasty gas. Good luck!
