Q:there is so many different metal genres, what is the difference between them all? Alternative MetalAtmospheric MetalBlack MetalDark MetalDeath MetalDoom MetalElectro MetalFolk MetalGothic MetalHeavy MetalIndustrial MetalMelodic MetalMetalMetalcoreNu MetalPower MetalProgressive MetalRock MetalSludge MetalSpeed MetalStonerSymphonic MetalThrash MetalVisual Keidont have to answer all of them but ones you know what they are like describe them, example- black metal shrieks , and death metal is like cookie monster
Sure its ok, I listen to black metal all the time, especially Summoning songs. I don't really like death metal, it seems to slow, too heavy, the growls aren't my thing and all that violence and blood they sing about pisses me off. It may be easier to understand the lyrics of death metal but once you can understand what the black metal bands are singing, it will become your favorite music and all other metal will sound a lot worse compared to it. Once you go black, you can never go back...
Q:I decided to listen to heavy metal today; not sure what band, I just typed heavy metal into Pandora. To me, the music sounded like someone was putting metal into a blender. The lyrics sounded exactly like the sound that a Hog makes when it is being slaughtered. Does all heavy metal sound this bad?
Mudvayne... not metal... Anyways, in actuality most of the metal scene is located either in the death or black scene so the majority are undecipherable to people who don't listen to metal. If you actually listened to metal almost all vocals can be understood. You should stick to the hard rock ish stuff, since metal is not what your looking for. listen to other numetal bandsl ike Godsmack, Spineshank, Disturbed... cause most metal bands are hard to understand to the untrained ear.
Q:I just want some good metal bands without satanic messages in their songs...
What grade are you in i just had a question like this on my test like a week ago of course,i got it wrong but yeah uhmm idr
Q:what advantages do non metals have over metals?
No. Have you seen the cost of a composite stick recently? Many are over $200. The bigger reason is because metal sticks would not provide anywhere near the feel that wood or composite sticks provide. You can still buy metal shafts.
Q:What are some good discussion questions about heavy metal that you would ask to an audience that has little knowledge about the genre?
If you literally mean futures as in commodity futures, pewter is an alloy of tin, lead and other metals and commodities deal entirely with pure metals like gold, copper, steel, etc. If you are stumbling over wanting a company that has a future in the metal or information on its future, you will find that there is very little. It has been almost entirely replaced with Britannia Metal because food holding containers with lead in them are frowned upon and plated metals are cheaper than they were in the past.
Q:like metal is....and non-metal is..
Every thing in this world tries to gain stability metals also lose electrons to gain stability by attaining the configuration of nearest noble gas.Metals usually have 1,2 or 3 electrons in their outer most shells so it is difficult for them to gain electrons( for completing their outer most shells),as compared to lose elctrons.Thats why metals lose electron.
Q:What do you think it means? Are there some examples and do you like any false metal bands?
those bands can certainly be considered as more modern metal. i think too many people here are older and stuck in their times from back in the day when they were teenagers. i think most older people would say that they arent metal, unless they can open their minds and realize that everything changes in time. but yes, those bands without a doubt can be considered modern metal.
Q:Can you recommend me some good Black Metal bands that do not feature a lot of satanic/anti-Christian lyrics. Please don't write Unblack Metal bands because i am already into Unblack Metal.

Q:What metal is the hardest and has the most resistance to acids and corrosion?
Good luck with that. I haven't met one female that likes metal.
Q:A friend of mine got me interested in checking out the Metal Gear video game series. I know that the PlayStation games start out with the first Metal Gear Solid game, and before that, there were two Metal Gear games for the NES. Unfortunately, I don't have an NES system, but I am really interested in checking the games out. So, my question is, is it really necessary to play the NES Metal Gear games in order to start on Metal Gear Solid? Does playing Metal Gear give you any understanding of the series needed for playing the first Metal Gear Solid game?
The primary reason for coating one metal with another is corrosion resistance. You might also do it for decoration, or to provide a wear or bearing surface, or to make a good electrical contact. Many things (tools, automotive parts, etc) are plated with copper and then nickel and then often chromium, to give them both corrosion resistance and a nice shiny chrome finish. The chromium gives an attractive bluish tint to the part, but it's the nickel that is the heavy layer giving you the mirror-like surface and most of the protection. Outdoor steel is often coated with zinc, called galvanization, either by electroplating or by dipping the steel into molten zinc. The zinc corrodes sacrificially to the steel it is protecting. Many things are gold plated for decorative purposes, to prevent oxidation, to improve electrical conductivity, or all of the above. You often see gold plated electrical connectors on high-end audio gear.
